My ideas for smoking inside with no smell

Hello everyone!


I've made those dryer sheet 'blower' things. Yeah, they work but for how long? And sure it gets rid of the smell, but then you have a noticeable dryer sheet smell with an odd musty smell. So, I just wanted to run this by you guys and see what you think.


Bacially I want to make a device that has NO smell. I know people make things for that strong smell when growing, so here's my idea. A mini-homemade carbon filter. People say change the sheets on a grow box every flowering period. So it works for weeks and weeks with air constantly being pushed through. If im right, this 'carbon blower' will last a long time.



What do you think? Worth a shot?

that looks like a pretty good idea. I've just been thinking about cutting a hole in my window screen and putting a tube through it so that the smoke gets exhaled way away from the window

some people take paper towel rolls (just the cardboard at the end) and stuff them with some fabric softeners. then at one end you exhale and on the other end, wrap the opening with another fabric softener and hold it in place with a rubber band. it'll smell like laundry instead of weed.

Yeah I know a lot of students in dorms and ones that are still at home that use those. They call them "spoofs". I had never even heard of them until a few months ago. I thought is was funny because I have not really ever cared about the smell, and I would get REALLY tired of exhaling through that thing every time. I like to kick back and enjoy.

I would recommend smoking from something that produces little sidestream, that means j's and blunts are out of the question for you. A little pipe would do.

RETARDED. I saw someone with a "spoof" and I made one. I shit you not I have not changed the sheets inside since i made it and every puff comes out just as fabric Fresh as the last. The problem with spoofs of ANY kind, whether carbon or fabric softener is that the smell is also coming from the bud that's still burning in your pipe after you inhale, and during the time you pass it to someone else. That's a little more tricky to get rid of.

I used rarely use my spoof. Like Trav said. Just kick back and enjoy.

since I happen to have a bunch of aquarium stuff lying around (including a vat of filter carbon) I'll make a prototype of this tonight after my parents are asleep

ok, so here's what I did, I took a small tub that used to be a cricket farm, and cut the lid (which had a bunch of air holes precut) and cut it smaller so it would slide down inside the bucket. since it had a tube going through the center, this is the natural inhaling point, and the lid will diffuse the smoke through the carbon. I dumped a whole vat of carbon on top of the lid, then cut a filter sponge up into round edges so it fit inside on top of the carbon.

when I get some herb I'll try it out

haha I used to use one but exhaling through it each time SUCKED. I couldn't relax if I had to worry about it. so I just said fuck it and threw it across the room.

i smoke in my room every single day...i stick some towels under the door...use a spoof...and put fans on blowing out the door with those renuzit things and the new apple febreeze and my roommates havent said anything

just buy you a small carbon filter and fan combo

i've seen 4" Can filter/TD series fan combos for around $100-150. not a bad deal




i would use one of those to blaze a dorm room, no bullshit...lol
