If you've got a closet grow you could padlock it when not at home, but the safest option is to move it of course. Prospective buyers are nosy, and you never know man, a cop might be looking for a home in your area.. I certainly wouldn't start flowering with people inspecting your house.. sniff sniff..

ya i just went and bought a padlock, but it will look real shady. i plant to keep it unlocked when i know they are gonna be lookin and just move the plants for that hour and put some tomato plants in there...but with the whole cop lookin for a house thing, didnt even think about that. shit!

If you haven't already, change your locks. Be sure you're paid up on Renters Insurance (in case something happens and they can't get in). Beyond that, you're going to have to make plans for letting someone in with that 24 hour notice.

ya i figured pad locked wont be that big of a deal, it is a split level house and im only using one little closet (3ft X 2ft X 8ft) and there is nothing in my lease saying i cant put a lock on my room or closet door....ill just have to change my light cycle from 6am-6pm to 6pm-6am so the light is shining out when people are there:)
