Yeah man, I'd chop. Have you sampled anything thing yet? If so, how was it?

Hey guys I chopped a good portion down. Two plants had some bud rot, the plant without any training with biggg cola had it the worst I was so upset! I chopped it up into small buds to dry without mold problems. I had to clean out a window screen and its in my bathroom drying. Please bare with me as I had no other choice atm.

Ah that sucks man. I've never had the bud rot but I have ruined part of a harvest once by putting them in jars to cure too soon.

I was wondering where you were! Thought you pulled a me and just bailed for a month or so haha.

Gets pretty stinky when you're harvesting doesn't it LOL. Last year I was harvesting a pretty good sized plant in my back room and within the same hour, with the smell in full effect without any filtering, three different people knocked on my front door. One wanting so sell something, a neighbor wanting to borrow something and some church people wanting me to go to their church. I do the harvesting late at night now.

Have you been able to get a loupe yet to check the trichombs for your other plants still growing? If not and the leaves are all dead I'd just cut any you still have left. It's been a long time since you started flower and you don't want them to get over ripe.

Oh yeah, on a side note, I chopped 3 more males from those supposed female cheapo seeds. So that means 4 males out of 6 "female" seeds I dropped.

So have you sampled any yet and how was it if so?

Im glad to hear from you buddy. Ive been in a heap of bullshit lately. Just got another poss and para ticket this morning. Made a thread about it and got straitht mauled on, internet drama.

I am going to sample some tonight. I dont have a loupe still, just eyeing it which im not comfortable with but we will see. I have bud curing right now, probably have about 6 oz. Not totally happy with the outcome but im not cashing on this so Im happy to smoke it.

Oh I have never heard of the toilet drying method I will try it next time. On a serious note yep bud rot sucks I have been there I had all my main heads go mouldy once totally ruined my yield.

Yeah I was cruising through the forums yesterday and saw a little something, not the entire story just the end of it. It's just drama man, ignore it.

It should be pretty good smoke man, you let it go full term so it should be really good. The great thing about this grow of yours is that you went from start to finish and ended up with nice buds. Now you know what to do, what not to do and can just build on your experience. Your next crop will be even better than this first one.

Yeah those seeds were trash man, if it's from a reputable company then I trust them but you know these were from a flyby-night place dirt cheap. I wasn't expecting much. I still have a few of the seeds too, one is a "female auto flower" LOL, that Fing thing is random bag seed from some Mexican brick weed.

This winter I'll do the journal with you. I won't have time or the ability to take regular pics until a few months down the road anyway.

I've never done the BHO, only ice water hash. The first time I smoked it I over did it, man oh mighty haha. I can only imagine how good the bho will be.

Ya I am happy with the outcome. I dont like the grey area of whether or not to ph soil grows and just the general uncontrolled"ness." im very hands on Nd like to get detailed so I was thinking about trying coco or something like that. Not hydro but I hear soilless can grow quicker than soil?

Im very happy with herbies i forgot if you used them before? I understand you dont have time thats cool man, just excited for future grows and our purple adventure.

I really need to cut down on the electric bill, I use central air and close other vents sometimes but want to duct a vent straight to my tent. You definitely have heat issues huh? How do you overcome that bro?

Ive never made any concentrates or whatnot so Im happy with anything! ( ;

Yeah, I was thinking about ordering some coco pretty soon here as I need to order a vaporizer anyway. I don't even bother with the ph in soil man, it's so much of a hassle and it changes as it get absorbed anyway. Maybe I would if my plants got all funky I would but otherwise too much grey area like you said to even bother IMO.
As far as growth, yeah man I've seen some killer grows in coco and just big blocks of rockwool that were hand watered. Way better than any hydro I've done.

Herbies is my go to place, love that company even though the prices a bit higher etc. They always come through and are very professional.

Heat problems, yeah for sure and just running the lights fans etc is enough for my projected daily budget for the entire house. I'm thrifty man and I only run my ac unless it gets into the 80s in my house. I'm seriously considering running my lights at night to see how that works out. With the heat, I can notice way less trichomb production. For me, in my region, the only real thing I can do to prevent it is to grow in the winter. I wanted to make use of the sun but my neighbors have been working on their roof for like a month and can see right down into my yard. So for now with these sampler plants I'm just letting them do their thing at 86-88 degrees and I get what I get.

That's a good idea though, running some ac air directly into the tent. That would help a lot but still have to pay for the AC use. Maybe just grow a shit load in the winter and forget about summer growing...??

On the hash, I'd be careful if you go the BHO route. The ice water is easy and there are lots of videos. Something like this
but you really want to find one made by a black guy, I forgot his youtube name. He does it the best way and shows a lot of tricks and you get a good return from your trim. You have to search around for it at youtube, I couldn't find it off hand.

Quick question, I have a plant that got stressed and popped a ton of bannas. Theyre everywhere now.. It isnt ready to be harvested but I was thinking about flushing it once or twice and harvesting. It originally got stressed from flushing too early, so it I gave it some nutes but im obviously turning it all into concentrate..should I just harvest it after quick flush so I can get other plants going?

How far is it from finishing ?

Well i dont have a scope but 12/12 started march 18. Its strawberry blue its looks unhealthy I gave it top booster by house and g which is supposed to be given3-4 weeks before harvest. Gave it to all plants rest are lndicas so theyre ready before and it has soo many bannanas even after i picked em off like 5 times. Would it go ok for hash or whatnot at this stage I'll take a pic.

I'd cut it down. That's 113 days of flower, almost 4 months. Based on the look of it, it's not going to give you much more by letting more time pass. You'd be better off with making the room IMO.

Ok should I flush it once more or just cut it tonight? My gf got me a magnifier so ill post it within the hr.

You can flush again but you can also cut it. If you flush I'd just use plain water.

LOL Been away way to long my dad had another surgery took care of him again then about 2 mos ago I fell down some stairs and had blown out my shoulder and had my surgery last tuesday and now I trying to get all caught on everything I have put off these last 2 mos. Dam Dam Dam I wish I could have help more but I just got way over my head with a bunch of shit but it looks like you did ok. Dont worry about some of those drawbacks as each harvest comes and goes it will get easier as each time you go though the grow cycle. I would have to say that seni star looked great and should be some good smoke. By the way you should be about ready to harvest the rest of your plants any day now got any questions ask me I am not going any were for a while.

Everything went well except I got bud rot at the very end. My fault, i have 2 oscilatting fans in my 4x4 tent along with my new 6in phresh carbon filter and hurricane inline fan.

I used my little bathroom for my drying room. I hung a good amount but most bud was dried on a window screen turned drying rack! Theyre in jars now, I burp them once a day for about 30min. Hygrometer says 62% (same as boveda packs everyone uses, I gotta get some..) some are at 60% so im making sure i dont dry them out too much.

I germed a incredible bulk, kosher kush and great white shark. Bought fox farm ocean forest today, going to add a bunch of perlite and some vermiculite and get em going. Starting them under a couple 105W cfl, then moving them under my 600w mh till flower. Im going to be tracking ppm/ph of runoff..

Any help is appreciated, im getting the hang of it a little. Thanks to everyone here, my gf and I are smoking good and saving alot of money, thanks to all that helped.

I am going to be a way for a while most likely. My dad is having some health issues also so I have a feeling I might have to go to his state and help for a bit ( few weeks to a few months).

You did a good job on this last grow man, a few issues but made it out in good shape overall and most importantly gained experience.

I will catch you around in a few weeks or even maybe a month or two. I still want to do the purple side by side this winter my man.
