Home made diy PPM and PH controller. 3 Eco-Pumps,1 parastaltic pump,2 timers, two overpriced logic control switches, a fuck ton of wires, and a couple of float valves (built into an old ebb-n-grow bucket as housing). Buckets connected at the base with 3/4" tubing and 3/4" to garden hose adapters at the base for easy separation when you move from veg to flower. 1/2 tubing across the top with 1/2" to 1/4" Tees in each of the buckets. It constantly mixes except when the buckets are refilling, about 45 minute turnover. Each has a 6 in air stone at the bottom. No rocks or anything, I just move them from a bare-root cloner into a tiny version of the same system with 3.75 in neoprene inserts in net pots with 1/3 of the net cut out. When the plants are big enough I zip tie them to the bucket. Lights are the old BML SPYDR600s, now the company is called "Fluence Bio-engineering" and make slightly larger slightly more efficient rigs. Just add water in one side, add nutrients when the other side goes dry mixed to normal strength. Basically look at it every other day, fill it once a week, might move up to 55 gallon refill reservoirs. I use GH Flora Duo full run with all the bells and whistles. I figure if it's good enough for the Space Station and Antarctica it's good enough for weed. CO2 Burner, just added a shut off meter and air conditioning in addition to the exhaust controller. I think this winter with a little luck I can hit every metric I can measure at all the times.
There's a little bit of nutrient burn at one point, the PPMs shot up because the re-fill timer wasn't keeping up with the amount of water they were sucking. Strain is Skywalker OG.
Got my card, fist time showing my ass now that I'm too legit to quit. What do you all think?

I think we have the same rdwc setup. Yours are waterfall filled and return to res through gravity tubes at bottom? Take more pics and close ups of the mechanics of how yours actually works please?. I'm interested.

These in a hole on top https://www.amazon.com/Hydro-Flow-Barbed-Reducer-Fitting/dp/B00WBZYBA2/ref=sr_1_fkmr3_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1468987276&sr=8-1-fkmr3&keywords=1/2"+to+1/4"++tee+barb+hydro just connected with tees. It flows in the top, returns along the ground in 3/4" tubing and connect to grommets in the buckets with these https://www.amazon.com/dp/B008TSRQF2/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=3F0H42F8Y2KFO&coliid=I379OK8GZL8SU4&psc=1 . It returns to the lead bucket (on the bottom of the controller photo) because of gravity and the power of the mixing pump.

Ya and you pump the tees with a submersible in your res right? Ya this is what I do. But more set up.
Here's my MINI one. I do a big one with 5 gals and in s 3x3 formation. This uses 5/16 & 1/2 but the big ones 1/2" & 1".20160713_114604.jpg 20160704_091312.jpg 20160713_114308.jpg 20160713_114234.jpg 20160710_165853.jpg

Same shit more or less. The mini one looks like the pre-veg I have set-up, I just use 1/2" for the top and set all the buckets in a 2x2 flood table with a bunch of air stones. Mine also connect to the top of the lid rather than the side, and I don't use rocks or anything, just neoprene pucks. I also connect mine in a single loop at the base rather than a run for each line.

You mean you lines go through each bucket? So 2 holes in each one?

Not at all. I use a screen on top of it. And from now of will be flowering much much sooner. More shorter plants rather than fewer bigger.
Ah I got cha, I have a plant limit so thats not the most suitable for my setup... but thats a good idea... Any issues moving around in there?

Can you post some detailed pics of how your system works? I'm so lost.

Yeah man, i see lots of.... "stuff", kinda lost. How's the PH automated?
There's a peristaltic pump hooked up to a tiny cycle timer which is in turn hooked up to that cream colored controller in the photo. It adds a little up and then waits 10 minutes and adds a little more. It's a Milwaukee MC122, one of these: https://www.amazon.com/Timer-Delay-Relay-Hours-Cycling/dp/B00PD65UGA/ref=sr_1_1?s=hi&ie=UTF8&qid=1448401745&sr=1-1-spons&keywords=12v+time+relay&psc=1
and one of these: http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/291666484892?lpid=82&chn=ps&ul_noapp=true

oh shit, thats so much cheaper than I thought. im making my own environment control system, was going to add a ph sensor next. And you're telling me I just need this $15 pump? (already got the relays).

That shit is crazy.

I can just pessimistically 'down' like I normally do and let the system just... fix it.
