she's done... a question though, 48 hours dark time or no? This is mostly just because I want to hear the opinions and whys of some peeps.. please chime in!

Well, after a 48 hour dark period I chopped her. They have been hanging for four days. The fans come off today.

52g dried.
I didn't weigh the larf but she's already super sweet and ever so slightly tropical with no cure whatsoever.
I'll post some pics of her frosty goodness once she's out of the paper sack.

I've read about the extended dark period right before chop but have no opinion on it. Is there anything you can comment on by doing so?

Well, I have 1 clone from her about 4-5 weeks from chop. I am not going to give her a dark period so that I can be a better judge on what's happening. That being said, I think that the best thing that it could do imho is improve the rate at which chlorophyll does its thing. I noticed that she tasted pretty damn good when she was barely smokable, and I'm really picky. I choose strains for another run based on flavor mostly.

I think that it slightly improved the color as well. So yeah, I'm thinking that it could have helped to diminish the chlorophyll.

After a slight cure I feel I can give a more accurate description of this grow. First, I got this seed in a three pack. (I think they were freebies) Two of the seeds I gave to a friend so who knows what traits they displayed and if there was any uniformity (highly doubtful anyhoo)

Stretch: 3x (all the way into the 6th week)

Smell: Not very strong, Tropical, slight garlic dankiness

Taste: Mostly smooth with not very much expansion, but so very sweet so it comes with a late urge to cough. Sadly, no tropical taste coming back yet

High: I've never smoked the Somali Taxi Ride some of you have heard of, but man this shit is a blast! Mixed with coffee I think that a blunt of this stuff could give me a heart attack. I smoke quite a lot, more than anyone I know, (I'm sure there are plenty of ppl out there who can hang.) and too much of this shit has me peeking out of the damn windows. I love it, in controlled amounts though!


I haven't smoked something like this for at least ten years, but strangely I need a bit more body these days. All in all I will cherish this smoke and see if I cant push her a bit farther with this last clone that I have going.
