My first harvest!

Howdy folks, I finally made it to harvest. Damn what a rewarding experience. I've got more than I know what to do with yet I can't wait to pop more seeds and try a photo organic grow in a few 5G pots.

Here is a photo of them freshly jarred after hanging until their stems would audibly snap but not break. I'm leaving them with their lids off for a day before starting the burp cycle.

These were all autos, from left to right we have:
Candy Kush | White Widow | King Kush

Also attached is my first bud porn photo attempt hah. I know she's airy and probably looking lame to most but jesh to me it's the best looking nug on the planet. I hope I can look back on this prized nug and laugh at it in a year but for now I'm beaming with pride inside. These were grown under a timber 300W 3590 kit on a 20/4 light schedule. FFOF soil in 3G smart pots with very minimal nutes. The first feeding wasn't even until flower. Anyhow, super stoked and wanted to share.

I've got a digital scale on the way, not sure how much I have however I know better than to ask. Can't wait for the cure to be over, I'll probably skim some in about a week.

Thanks a ton for all your help!

I thought this was interesting, this is my power usage compared to 2015. Grow started in July. By early Sept. I had the 8" exhaust fan nearly at max with 3 6" clip-ons running on high in addition to a dehumidifier running nearly the entire month. The kw bump from 2015 breaks down to:

July = +124 kw
August = +594 kw
September = +898
Total kw used for entire grow = 1616 @ 8.58 cents per hour
Total cost increase = $138

Of course this doesn't take into consideration weather fluctuations but given the above, I ate up about $140 in electricity for the grow.

I'm gonna take a wild guess here...looks like your using 8 oz jars and if you put just 1 oz into each... your looking at a great harvest!...even if I'm wrong....you have a great harvest going on! be proud!

Wow well done! Just remember to stay really vigilant if they feel Damp in any way let them sit in a brown paper bag for a few hours..I like. Mine on the crispy side going to jar :) even forgetting to burp once can ruin all your efforts..
This is a great yield for your first attempt and it looks beautiful :eyesmoke:

I didn't wait long enough and nearly lost 2 jars worth yesterday. I left the lids entirely off for nearly the entire first day before starting the burp cycle but it was too early plus I packed them too tightly. One of the jars popped twice. Thanks to the responses in the curing guide thread I pulled them all out and let them dry some more until they were really crispy on the outside like you said. The lids are off now, I'm going to mix them up a bit later today and then re-start the cure. Yeah man, that shit nearly wen't sideways in a span of 12 hours!

Its so easily done I am just glad you caught them in time I lost about 20oz of my first harvest for exactly that..too tightly packed and not burped frequently enough as well as going to jar too soon..to say I learnt a lesson was an understatement I could have cried!
So glad you caught yours, they will reward your patience :bigjoint:
