My first grow- Northern Lights and Amnesia

Brought home 6 new flavors. I was gunna roll with 8 but I planted two fem seeds of bubblegum so didnt wanna push my grow space. I grabbed the following flavors:

Confidential Cheese
BooNana
Lime OG
Cookies N Cream
Tangie Cake
Gelato

I will leave these girls in solo cups for another week and then transplant them into 3 gal pots. Then about 3 weeks from now Ill rotate them from my yahee to my milliard tent under a 900w led light. Ill post some pics in a bit with my tent setup.

And finally got my tent all setup and rdy to roll. Have the 6 newest clones and my 2 bubblegum seeds in this tent. I also reversed my light cycle for my lights to turn off at noon and back on at 6pm as its hot as f* in cali 110 all week long so this should help keep temps down during the hottest point of the day for my future grows plus with my job its easier to manage 16 plants at 2am! Decided to only run 2 t12 daylight bulbs since my timer only has two intakes on it and I wanted bubblegum to have their own CFL lights. Feel free to comment!

Another weekly update...so heres a breakdown of what i have going on. Started this journal with 6 seeds (3 amnesia and 3 Northern Lights) only 1 of each survived due to lack of watering. Along with 1 amnesia and 1 NL i added w more clones my buddy gave me 1 strawberry and 1 pineapple. I then purchased 4 clones in July Sour Dubb, Super Blue Cookies, Blue Dream and Euphoria Cookies. In August I added an additional 6 clones Conf. Cheese, BooNana, Lime OG, Cookies N Cream, Gelato and Tangie Cake. Lastly I kicked off 2 fem seeds of bubblegum.

Im trying to have 6 to 8 plants on a 30-45 cycle. I have strawberry and pinepple in my 24x60x60 closet in the bedroom. Its running a 6" inline fan connected to a carbon air filter with 1 900w viparspectra led light. Both girls are on Day 20 of flower today and are starting to produce nice buds. This closet will eventually be my flower closet for every rotation.

I then have amnesia and northern lights along with the first set of 4 clones from July in a tent with 1 900w viparspectra led. Amnesia is on Day 57 from seed and will be rotating to the flower closet next week. Northern Lights was an auto flower (my mistake when ordering seeds) and shes currently on day 18 of flower. I left her in my veg tent so she could stay on 18/6 cycle. The 4 clones from July are on Day 25 of veg and will be rotated to the flower closet in approx. 2 weeks.

In my 3rd tent I have the 6 clones I picked up in August who are on Day 4. Im only running 2 T12 Daylight Deluxe bulbs over them. No nutes yet. Along with these 6 clones I have 2 bubblegum seeds who are also on day 4 from sprouting. Im running 2 100watt CFL daylight deluxe bulbs over bubblegum. No nutes as well.

Hopefully this makes reading my grow journal a little easier since the title doesnt really go along with the journal. All plants will be or are on fox farm trio nutes and FFOF soil. Next week I will be ordering my 3rd LED light probably sticking with 900w viparspectra to add to my flower closet so when I have 6 to 8 plants shoved in there they will all get enough light.

I started noticing some white powder looking stuff on the leafs of my plants. I attached a pic. Almost looks like mold building up? Thoughts anyone?

So after going to my local shop they said its def. mold fuzz. They recommended a mold spray and so I've applied it to the plants. Hopefully when I check the 6 clones in the morning they are white fuzz free. The guy at the shop said its like herpes. You can control it but can't get rid of it. After further inspection only my clones I picked up from a local shop have the white fuzz. So it's definitely coming from their grow. I'll apply the spray to the leafs every 7 days as recommended. I'll post a pic of the spray tomorrow. After further discussion with the wife we've decided to only grow from seed now and then clip clones from our seeds that make it thru harvest. I placed an order tonight for some fem seeds non auto jack herer, afghan kush x white widow, diesel dipped cookies, and then we get 8 free fem seeds. Price comes out the same. Used seedsupreme.com and used weedblog420 for 10% off. They came thru on my first order and had my seeds in hand in less than 2 weeks. So to recap I'm getting 21 seeds for $150. 3 rounds of 7 plants isn't bad. Also I'm going to start experimenting with clones next week. If anyone has any tips lemme know.

Checked the plants and for the most part the white powder was cleared off every plant. I attached a photo of the spray my local shop recommended. Bottle says i should re apply to the plants every 7 days.

Just truckin along...Pineapple Express and Strawberry Kush are currently in day 27 of flower, Northern Lights is currently in Day 16 of flower, Amnesia just flipped to Flower last night so shes on Day 1 of flower, and my 4 clones (Super Blue Cookies, Euphoria Cookie, Blue Dream and Sour Dubb) are all on Day 32 of Veg.

Just got my 3rd 900w Viparspectra and it will be going in my flower closet for a total of 2 900w vipars over 4 plants as of right now. Temps are running very high mainly because its 107 in the valley today. I left the doors open to the closet today to help the girls breathe.

Bubblegum 1 & 2 were transplanted last night into 3 gal containers- both had strong root balls. All other 6 clones are cruisin along (ill post pics of this tent on my next post)

Ive also decided on my next seed run im gunna roll with 1 300w viparspectra led instead of 8 100w cfl bulbs. The price is about the same for the initial setup so im think im gunna pull the trigger. If it doesnt work well with seedlings i can always add it into my veg or flower setups.

Another update. Got that weird mold powder under control with that mold spray. Anytime i see it on a leaf i spray it directly on. Also i sprayed Northern Lights completely down with it. I rotated my 4 clones into my flower closet so as of right now on 12/12 there Pineapple and Strawberry, Amnesia, Northern Lights, Sour Dubb, Euphoria Cookies, Super Blue Cookies and Blue Dream. Pineapple and strawberry are on Day 32 of flower. Northern Lights is on day 20 of flower, amnesia is on day 4 of flower and the other 4 are all on Day 1.

Bubblegum 1 & 2 are truckin along and I just moved them under a 900w led in a tent by themselves after I bleached the hell out of the tent of course. Bubblegums on Day 17 Veg but I will keep them under the Led until their about 2 foot tall.

My other 6 clones are stretching and are on day 16 under 2 T12s. I will be shifting them into the tent with bubblegum as soon as my new seeds ship from Europe.

I will only be growing seeds from here on out especially after that mold scare I had with the clones I picked up and will only be clipping clones from my own plants.

I will be purchasing a 300w viparspectra for my seedling tent in a week or so. Then I need to start planning how im going to dry and cure pineapple and strawberry as shes right around the corner.

I thought I would throw my two cents in on the mold issue. I was having problems with it also until I started adding potassium silica. I spray it as a foliar and add it to their water (always add it before anything else) and it has done the trick for me so far. It also has made for much healthier looking plants. It strengthens the cell walls of the plant and helps it keep the mold in check. It also makes the plants less attractive to pests because it gives them a tougher skin! I think the kind I use is call Armor Si or something like that. Great looking plants by the way!

Good looking out ill try and order some of that as my foliar spray cuz honestly i dont think i can take the smell of stinky feet (the red bottle stuff im using) any longer!

Been following your grow. I have a vipar 900 and a Mars hydro 300 for vegging. Im waiting to move before i set everything up. Its looking good for a first grow.

Sweet gunna order a bottle today!

I should be getting my seeds in the mail sometime this week. Also my 300w vipar spectra will be here monday for my seedling tent.

Im heading off to Seattle this weekend for my birthday and my wife suprised me last night with tickets to a kush tour thats 3 hours long!

Only downside is i hope my brother doesnt kill all my plants....again....they should be on auto pilot as they all call for a feeding tomorrow morning before we take off. All hes rly going to have to do is open the doors to the closet and the 1 tent every once in a while.

Ill update with some new pics when I get back and hopefully I learn some cool shit in Seattle!

I know how it is with someone else watching your plants. Hubby has nearly killed mine on several occasions! I hope you have fun in Seattle!

So far so good all my plants are still alive. Slightly concerned my usps package has been confiscated since it hasn't had movement since the 24th. We will see but I bought the insurance so either way I'm fine. Visited my first recreational marijuana store in Seattle and how crazy it is compared to Cali. So much to choose from it was almost overwhelming.

I'll be doing the kush tour tomorrow and I'll definitely be posting some pics of Dawgstars grow (that's the company we get to walk thru).

I'll update some pics of my plants on Tuesday!
