Day 64 from seed  2/7/16 12:00 am Midnight peak and new toys

I went shopping and bought a drill pump to use on my tray when I get over flow. Looked into some easy drip methods to use with the lines I got and I think it should work with some type of gravity set up I can do on the cheap. Also looked into the tray suggestion that is used for washing machines and it wouldn't fit my 4x4 tent ...most they had at Home Depot was like a 3x3 max. I think I wanna build a drain table system that dumps the overflow out the tent.

Grow is looking AMAZING! They are plumping up so much! and currently the Skunk 3 experiment is going nuts! At 4 feet tall and side colas the size of other plants MAIN colas ....what a monster! Once the Fast & Vast start coming out then she will start to get to work! I'm going to grab some pieces of 2x4 from my inlaws to reuse under the boot trays and start to really use them for what I got them for....drain pans. With getting the drill pump I'll be able to suck up that run off pretty easy while keeping the plants off the floor. My only other worry is that I'm no longer getting air under my pots for my roots. Have yet to see any problems but I can't wait to see what the root balls look like at the end of the show!

I believe they call those foxtails maybe lol I don't know
Was wondering what foxtails are!! I googled them before I started growing and I thought they are the leaves that come out of the bud without being a fan leaf...if that makes sense lol

Just so everyone knows the front plants(Fast & Vast) with all the bud sites are on milk crates and the ones in the back are not on anything but inside 5 gallon smart pots.

Size matters!

Seems to bigger fan leaves that is just your plant pulling those nutes out for the buds this will almost always happen with autos even if u r feeding

Hey man some of that yellowin is happening to mine as well but tbh i think it's either a nitrogen oor magnesium or... just dieing leafs lol I don't have nitrogen I can feed mine so I haven't tried but I do have some cal mag , and I'm pulling my Pineapple Express next week so I'm in flush mode and they have started to show up little bit more lol sorry for the story

That's what I was thinking it was. Most my smaller stuff from the bottom is pretty much doing the same thing when growth happens and they are bursting with bud then the smaller leaves just kinda fall or pop off by a touch. Growth that's still being used for the plant won't break as easily ..I know I tried to remove one a few days and the thing wouldn't break worth a damn! Felt like trying to split celery in half with your fingers and it just kinda peels away while leaving a strip pulling away from the stem. If that makes sense..

I thought it might be a cal mag issue but these are coming from my Fast & Vast that are in my Recipe 420 that's basically super soil from what I was told at the nursery. Would think it would have any issues being short of either water or ready to be harvested soon I was thinking.

The yellowing on those leaves is ur plant consuming the nitrogen in the big fan leaves. I dont want to start a huge argument herr but it goes into the principles of defoliation and how ur plant will naturally canabalize those leaves anyway for energy. Some people like myself start removing them earlier to unshade some of the buds or i end up with larf. Anyhow when you switch to high P K nutes, the plant is using stored energy ie: nutrients within the leaf to boost bud production and supply carbs.most nutrient programs will provide nitrogen into week 4 or so of flower then mostly cut it off to minimal levels to hint the plant.. hey veg and stretch is over... time to flower. U may have cut nitrogen too early whixh could lead you to see that. When you are flowering thats a normal process around week 6 or 7 towards the time the flowers are ripening and the plant is using all stored energy. Typically happens for me when im in flush and the plant is leaching all stored nutes

Yeah I figured it wasn't anything for me to worry about with my girls ripening up and the foxtail production is really just packing it on. I'll be checking my trics with my microscope cam and see if I can find any clouds and upload the images. Hoping they are showing some ambers so I can see them for my self vs online images.

Had some more of my Skunk tonight. 20160209_194558.jpg

Burns alright after the first couple hits after 400 degrees fahrenheit. I had got about a total of 20 soild hits from couple tiny buds of larf.

Dude we have the same vape. I am beginning to think you are my Nor Cal doppleganger. just a tip with the drill pump. it comes with a hose on one side and the skinny plastic hose on the other, if you take out the plastic hose you are left with just a 3 inch white tube, if you dip that tube into the water and omit the small hose, you will pump out the water 3 times faster. if you don't understand what I mean I would gladly send you a pic on how to do it, that little plastic tube can become annoying. Are you vaping dried nug or are you vaping your fresh nug? I have heard you can vape the nug right off the plant, but am too cautious to try it. never mind, just read you are smoking fresh nuggets. bummer about the washing machine pan, did you check into the Water heater drip pan? they have a drain built in. Happy Growing

Get a Pax 2 and a Hoodlamb and you good!! To be honest I haven't needed the pump besides the one time flooding I had gave a plant a 2nd gallon of water...

I'll check out that water heater pan.. Hope its a 4x4 but I might just build a drain table.

@AngusMcKay ...omg LOL. I google "water heater pan" and low and behold the same thing the home depot guy tried to show me and I was like "..uhhhh I needed a square pan." 4 employees asked me what was I needing it for. To which I answered "To catch water after I water my marijuana plants..." I said.... the looks I got from some was great. o_O

But to no avail... that will not work. It's alright. I'll finish out this grow and fix everything for the next run. I might need to start thinking about my next couple sets of seeds. I also have a friend that might be putting in some money for me to buy a second tent!! I am so down for that!!! 5x9 here I come? :leaf: :hump:

..I'll post new pictures tomorrow with some action shots. Trust me they have gotten bigger and filled in a lot more.

I'm not sure if I already stated it but getting my Ana and other skunk on the milk crates again are showing amazing growth.

Yeah if you want to use up all that space i guess a square would be best. I would also love one huge tent. But the cost of those tables make me happy i am doing flood to drain. Have you thought of doing coco coir?
