Fresh out of the box...so much for my Friday night RO wet t-shirt contest :(

Made by Hydro-logic and purchased directly from Hydro-logic. The box has no damage from shipping but was packed poorly in my opinion (the RO-100 was inside another box with brown paper on both ends for padding and nothing on the sides for protection. Will see what their warranty department says on Monday, since I missed them by 30 minutes. Sigh :finger:

How do you even hook up one of those? Does it bolt/attach right to a sink or garden hose haha? Basically.... Do i need a plumber or not

420 Jakers: I think Supchaka is right, you'll need to talk to the folks at a Lowe's, The Home Depot or Ace for the fittings you'll need to hook it up to your water supply. My friend has one and his is connected to his garden hose, although I've seen them mounted permanently near a water source. If I get one it's going on the wall over my wash tub in the garage. They should have included a complete set of instructions for the installation. His has a water source hose adapted through fittings connected to it then a two exiting hoses; one providing filtered R/O water and a dirty run off waste line.

I'm looking at the same model because the crap that comes out of my tap is unusable for hydro. If I'm not mistaken, they have two 100 gallon R/O 100 models; one with two filters and the R/O canister and one with three filters and the R/O canister. There's quite a difference in the prices for the 100 gallons you get a day. Please tell us which model you got, where you bought it and how much you paid? It would also be helpful if you could keep us posted on how much of a hassle it was to set it up, any problems you encountered and how you like it after all is said and done. HSA

Do those require higher water pressure? I picked up a RO system but it required 30psi or more, not sure what mine is but i cant get the damn thing to flow at all.
