i run around there myself. maybe a couple inches higher to hit the corners with a little more light.

-you aren't crazy btw. I tested the Kingbrite 90deg reflector and it fits way tighter than the ledil. it has a little wider base on it.

I see the issue with KB reflector as well. atomic has same issue here

Whats that in the middle. Doesn't seem to be spreading much. Try raising it.

Anybody know how to order extra cross bars for Apollo tents?4x8?

So I got tired of wasting photons to the empty half of the 4x8 so I rigged up a piece of panda film, a few strips of adhesive velcro and bam. Made a perfect little divider for above the scrog, easily adjustable and easy easy easy to remove. It just wraps around the middle supports and back on to itself. Very clean looking. Allows the carbon filter to still do its job, Intake is on plants far side, and fan is below canopy keeping everything moving nicely. And one of the greatest aspects of the whole thing is once the tent is closed, negative pressure pushes the walls tightly against it making it nice and light proof on both sides where light would even have a chance to escape. Simple solution to a problem that'd been bothering me.

SCREEN is filling in nicely too.

I'll probably just finish this out like it is with a few tucks here N there. But next run, I'll be putting the buckets closer to each other. Down the middle of the screen. Rig both 3 bucket lines to one 1" line and have just 2 return lines rather than 6. That way I can train each one out from the center in a bent over style rather than getting this overlapping.

And of course, bring the screen down a good 8-10" and start early. Will be from seed so topping and trainING will be easier. But the clones I took are kicking ass in the DIY easy cloner. But I'm done with thsee strains. Don't know why I even took them really..... gonna probably toss em.

Check this little baby RDWC out! 1 gallon buckets, 6" net pots. A perfect place to veg before transferring to the big 5 gall buckets. Success....

Just tested it. It works like a charm. Couldn't be happier! No leaks!

So a quick update. The screen is TOTALLY filling in well. Still tucking em down everyday or so. I've decided to go to a 9 bucket rdwc system in this 4x4 next time. More variety BUT MORE importantly,I'll ONLY Need to veg a very short time and bring the screen waaaaaaay down lower to fill it all in with 9 buckets rather than the 6. These are just getting far too big. I always wait too long to flip :/

But this next run will be just so much easier. I've also updated the mini rdwc to 9 buckets as well. It's still 2 rows but of 5 & 4 now.

I honestly think that 2 bulb t8 cool white fixture will be plenty to veg them with. But I bit the bullet and ordered my ideal holders and an HLG-185H-C1400B to run the 4 4000k 3070's I have lying around. I was going to buy 5k & 6500k but just didn't think it'd be worth the money to buy them when I have 4k cobs here not doin jack shit. So I'm putting em to use.

I'll be using the 4 Square Pin Heatsinks that @robincnn so graciously blessed me with for this veg light and I'll also be using the Junction box if I can figure it out. Haha. New light soon to come! I'll be using the KB 80-120 lenses to spread the light as much as possible with this one. Those lenses throw light everywhere. Angelinas point it right down. Perfect for flower.

Wouldn't you get better light from just using the BJB holders open with the 3070's & without any lenses?

Bjb wouldn't make a difference. I'm using ideal chip loks. I guess I could use them openly. ..

Ok, I thought you were using BJB's. I honestly dont know myself about using the reflectors vs using them open. I would think that any reflector or glass lense etc will have a dampening effect on the PPF/PPFD correct? At what point do you lose more than you gain from using or not using a reflector? Sorry brother, I got lots of questions haha

I see a much more concentration of light with the reflectors. They put it in a tight little circle. They can't be hurting ppf by any means I wouldn't think. Lenses on the other hand do give your light a small decrease in lumosity from passing through the glass, but I dunno, I don't wanna waste light from having them bare, but the reflectors will concentrate it too much imo. So lenses, from what I've seen personally, are a good medium. They bring the light down in a triangle shape from the LES but it's still quite high up and spreads it out well.

Ok, so the reflectors would be better suited if you are in a smaller tent/closet trying to concentrate the light on canopy instead of it being wasted on the walls? (tightening footprint maximizing PPF per sq.ft.)
And lenses would be best used to spread the light if used in a larger area? (maximizing footprint but decreasing PPF per sq. ft.)
