To be honest man, I'm only just dipping my toe into hempys myself, so I'm not sure. It seemed the easiest, simplest way to transition to hydro, with a bonus of less frequent waterings. I'm draining to waste, but obviously there's a 2" reservoir of nutes at the bottom of the bucket, so maybe just over a litre of feed left in there, being wicked up by the coir. As for reusing the runoff, again I'm unsure - the reservoir is already full and the medium isn't going to hold any more, so not sure it would be worthwhile. The runoff should effectively be a mini-flush in essense, rinsing any salt build ups and aerating the medium, and rotating the nutrient resevoir.

My hempy set up cost me £3.12 :) I'm running Canna Coco A&B as a nutrient regime, thought I'd be nicer to the hempy experiment than use my poundshop/dollar store nutrients (to be fair, they have seen me through very well in soil).

Sick
I'm trying to avoid using nutes lol .. Hempy grows seem pretty cool from the looks of it. I'm going to try and use this super soil for the grow and see how I do in each pot. I need more soil as my 3 seeds are starting the 2nd set of leafs. Over watered on my 5 gallons. I feel as they are slow to growing like my 1 gallons. Opps.

Added my heat mat under my Skunk number 2.

Yeah, I don't think you'll be able to go nute free with a hempy, lol! I'll be interested to see how you get on with supersoil, I'm all for prepping ahead to make your life easier - proactive laziness, as I call it. What recipe are you using?

It's not made by me. Store bought. I guess I'm cheating a bit and missing out on the learning process on making my own. But I am looking to go easy as possible with my 4x4. Seeds from water to a rapid rooter, sprout then 1 gallon then at about 1 month I transplant to a 5 gallon.

Cool, never seen that stuff before. Let us see how you get on! Ain't no shame in keeping things simple - and cheap if you're not using nutrients!! You smashed it last time, hoping for the same or better this run?

Running all Skunk for the most part besides my 3 seedlings. To be honest I've already ran this soil the first run with no nutes on the 3 x Fast & Vast strains I did.

With my 2 Fast 2 Vast being my fav out of my first harvest but slim pickens lol

I'm hoping for anything right now. After losing the house and delaying my real 2nd grow I'm feeling this one is being rushed and I'm trying new things.

Soil is burning and browning some of the tips of the sun leaves. I'll take some updated photos when I get home. Still dealing with 90 degree temps and low room humidity. Added a boot tray with water in it and a fan blowing over to hopefully keep temps down and bring RH up.

Poor little bugger. Is it 100% supersoil? I'd have maybe done the bottom half of the pot with the good shit, top half light seedling soil to be on the safe side. Hindsight is a bitch though.

Omg this! LOL! I had been reading some into Subcools method of supersoil I belive? Or at least people talking about it. I plan on getting outer shells for my smart pots with pebbles at the bottom layer and some sand on top as well to deal with the bugs.

Doing ok still I think. Dealing with this Cali heat though..whewScreenshot_2016-05-18-14-01-17.png

Outdoor clones...? Make sure they are clean. No pests
My 600 watt 4x4 tent is 6 Skunk autos and 3 Fast & Vast autos which all have a fugus gnat problem still. Drying out the soil for the next couple days, getting sticky traps for the adults and using a hydrogen peroxide mix to kill the larvae once the soil dries a bit.

The clones seem alright still with the smaller cuttings having some leaf curling but new growth is still happening. If only 3 clones make it then I'll be happy...I have a super hot garage that is giving me issues.

Day 46 from seed  6/6/16 1:00 pm Fugus Gnat WARZ!

Still dealing with the fugus gnats! I ended up letting everything dry up for a few days followed with a coat of cinnamon, watered with a 4:1 ratio of water:hydrogen peroxide then another coat of cinnamon on the top. Forgot to mention on last Saturday my 600 HPS went out I belive! Swapped in my 600 MH till I order another HPS bulb.

Moved Skunk 1-6 onto the floor off the milk creates to provide better space and moved the larger #3 & 4 to to top right and bottom left.
