My 2024 Spring Run

2-22-24 Here we go again, excited for a new season with new flavors. Dropped some Shineapple from Dominion (R) and Chocolate Thai (F) from Blimburn . Seeds dropped in water/ peroxide , sunk this morning into paper towels and in the closet. Guess i need to find some soil! Good luck everyone

2-25-24, germination is complete-1/2”-3/4” tails on all of them sprouted and placed into dixie cups/ ffof/ distilled water for now. Ppfd 175

2-27-24 First 2-3 Shineapple (R) popped the surface. Ill probably use Freeman to test the regs in a week or two though might keep a male for pollen

2-28-24 all 5 have popped the surface. Photo doesnt want to attach so today is day one.

Hey SG, i am enjoying RIU very much. My daily routine consists mostly of tending my garden , tending my old blind husky, and whatever else mama needs me to do around the house , (while she workss, lol). Im finding tons of great info and I love admiring everyones grows! I hope to be as good as most of you eventually! (Doubt I have that much time left though, lol!) My sister recently gave me the old photos, does look like I need to pee, lol! Believe its around 1959/60. And I do Appreciate all your comments! while im doing stuff inside trying to get ready for outside going into the ground around 1st of @pril.

2/6/24 . Going to call one week old today. Got my FF in the snail mail so Ill go a few more days before I test the 3 regs. Shineapple. / chocolate thai are fems so no testing needed

2-13-24 ez xy sent off yesterday afternoon for the three shineapples. all 5 plants seem to be doing well with good root development. Will transplant based on results from genetic testing, since the thai are fems ill transplant them today or tomorrow. Light ppfd is at ~175

Well I transplanted the one female ShineApple this morning as well as the two feminized Chock- Thai. Like to find a home for the males , great lineage but dont expect to find anyone so ill hold onto for a few days. First pick os Shineapple, 2 nd with two plants is Chock-thai, and last is the 2 male non transplanted plants.

First topping yesterday 3/20/24.2 ea Chock thai and 1ea shineapple from dominion. Purged the two males and dropped 2 more shinebands and (1) catalina wine mixer from greenpoint seeds. Wife having surgery today for kidney stones so no work for me today.

Lets see, topped existing yesterday, dropped 2 more shinebands and one catalina wine mixer. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Everything has popped. So , Shineapple, Catalina Wine Mixer and Chock Thai all underway. A couple days to 28 days old.

Starting week 5 for chocolate thai from Blimburn and Shineapple#1 from Dominion. Also running catalina Wine Mixer from Greenpoint. Started a couple more shineapples to make up for the males I likked last week.
