thanks! im pretty happy with this run, the only thing im changing up next go around is 2 gallon smart pots so my babies get the space needed to properly fill out.

Yea I didn't end up having enough room in my container last time either, I have been trying to find some square 7 gallon containers that are not cloth, but I might have to go with the Smart Pots myself.

Hey brother Alex, I recently reread the thread to refresh myself, stoner memory. but I was curious of your Silver process to get seeds? I am really wanting to produce myself some seeds so that if, need be, I can close up shop, or just start with a fresh starter. I've read a bit on purposely hermie'ing kids, but still have not found a definitive answer as to whether or not the seeds carry the hermie trait, may be male, or are the original sex? I've looked into bagging pollen, but I don't want to cross anything, maybe down the rode... but for now I wanna keep the gen's seperate.

If you could point me in the right direction or enlighten me, Id greatly appreciate

^^^ Imo If a plant hermies or the seeds are produced at the end of flower vs beginning. The seeds and pollen at the end are more likely to not be hermie. The ones that develop at the beginning of flower, the majority of them will be hermie.

from what i gathered based on others experiences, colloidal silver is the safest way to make seeds(in my scenario of wanting to preserve a specific female plant). the la confidential plant that i sprayed it with turned 100% male, no female flowers at all or any weird hermi stuff. by using this method you are also creating feminized seeds. basically all i did to make it was get 2- 1 gram silver bars and attach each one to an alligator clip and put them both in a jar of water and attached the other ends to the positive and negative ends of a battery. once the solution hit 30ppm i stopped making it and started spraying it on my clone i wanted to turn male. i sprayed a week before i put it into 12-12 and then for a week after i started 12-12. i sprayed it once a day and gave the plant a nice soaking when i sprayed. make sure you use distilled water as well when you make it.

in this pic u can see i used a 12v and a 6v battery whereas some people just use a single 9v, make sure only the silver is in the water and the +/- ends arent touching each other. if you need any more details on how i did feel free to ask!


i actually have been checking on some of the seeds as they are starting to burst out. on my og 18 plant i pollinated with the la con, it has enormous seeds with a shit ton of black stripes. they look a million times better than any seed ive bought. annoyingly though, the la con i pollinated which is the main plant im trying to preserve is still developing its seeds, they are small and tan and are going to make my la con have to go past its peak harvest date.

You let a plant go a couple weeks past finishing and it will develop bananas. Use that pollen. Somas method for feminized seeds.

if by storing pollen you mean the male chilling in my veg tent then yes, i am storing some. other than keeping the plant alive for the time being i dont think i need to save any. each gram of silver cost me like 5$ and i had the clips and everything else lying around. ive made about 1.5 liters and the silver still looks like it can make a ton more. this is for the recommended concentration of 30ppm. store bought will be like a 100ml for 20$+ and will probably be around 10ppm.

here is my la con! i thought seeds were suppose to reduce quality or something but that sounds like bs to me because this shit is knocking out me just as hard as when it was unpollinated, it pretty much looks as frosty too!



not to big on the yeilds, the max i got from an individual pot was an ounce and that was from each og 18. next time it will be larger smart pots instead of these 1 gallon containers, lesson learned!

here are the seeds i got from the og 18 x skunk. i still havent went through the la con and plucked out seeds but i should be getting more than enough. going to kill off the mothers and next grow i will use my 2x2 and my armoire for flowering with the new series of vipar lights. ill be testing one of each of the seeds i made and unload some of the badass stuff from my recent purchases. the high from each of these 2 plants is very different and i hope the cross will have an interesting gene pool.

i had read your post about your vipar 300 and was just wondering a few things.
how did it turn out do you think that would cover a 2x2 good enough, also I can't really find a coming Nutella system that everyone likes. What did you feed your plants with? What I am trying to do is set up a grow tent for a 2x2 grow maybe even a 3x3 and having trouble deciding on a lot of things any help you can give would be appreciated. Either way tnx for your time
