Right, so I love growing but outdoor is my passion. But if you haven't noticed, it get really hot in Las Vegas, so it's pretty hard to grow outside. It's not impossible, but It ends up costing as much in time and money as in indoor grow. What I wante to know is if anyone has attempted growing outside around the city or specifically Mt. Charleston?
I know it's federal land but I was thinking it might be perfect...
only thing that worries me is the mountain climbers and hikers. I don't think it snows there till like January or something.
Voting is not made public.
God damn it, I spent guerrilla wrong

I'd say it's possible but u can't half ass it u would need some sort of reservoir and drip system. I took some clones up to lovel canyon which is basically the back side of mount charleston it's part of the spring mountains area virtually the same climate. I planted right after they received about a week of rain went up a week later and the plants were completely dried up and dead. I think if they were getting a daily watering they would have survived. But I was just fuckin around and didnt really care if they lived. If I didn't have a job I would take a trailer or rv and live up there a couple of months a mile or so away from the plants. An atv or something would come in handy an make sure your plants aren't easily accessible buy bikers or riders. Also plant your plants so they get direct morning sun light and indirect afternoon sunlight because it's just too damn hot. Good luck

Nah I definitely wouldn't half-ass it if I were gonna do it. I don't even have a car ATM. I was just watching guerrilla grow movie and I't just reminded me how much I like to grow outdo weed.

Shit dude, the temps just for INDOOR growing are a little much without burning out your AC keeping the house and room cool.

But Mt. Charleston doesn't seem like a bad idea, just like you said though, it would have to be faaaaar out there. I wouldn't feel safe on any place that has a road, and hiking out there with a bunch of clones feels excessive...would have to prob start from seed. I might actually have JUST the genetics to do it with too. A friend from Michigan is sending down some outdoor strains. Might not be a terrible idea....
If I had a vehicle that could make it up there, I might try it myself. :-P
And I remember a day when phones didn't work up there AT ALL, now you'd have to be careful to leave any smart phones back at the car, so GPS tracking cant follow you.

All the same, federal land so...prob out.
