Lost one clone because of root issues, I planted the clones in my soil mixture andfor some reason the roots didn’t grow out like they should have and the oneplant just dried up and died. I panic and put the other 3 clones into floweringsooner than I had planned. The plants were short and I like them taller beforeI flower. So now I am down to 9 plants flowering.

My White Widow is tall and kind of lanky, plus her hairs are really brown makingme think that she is getting close to harvest. Based on my records she has 3-4more weeks. I had to put a girdle around the Haze (I think) because she wasbeginning to fall over, don’t want her to break. She’s kind of tall and lankytoo. Blue Mystic is on the bushy side, and the others are not too tall and not too bushy.

I pinched the hell out of the top of the clones to see what they would do, andnow they are showing bud/flower sites everywhere. I hope that the 3 remainingplants stay healthy up to harvest and don’t get locked up like their sister who died.

Lesson Learned: Never spray insect killer not intended for plants in your grow room. I have 1seedling and about 5 clones that got a little bit of the spray on them and theyare now stunted, they won’t grow. I probably should go ahead and remove thembecause after 4 weeks they have not grown very much maybe an inch if that much.I hate to kill a MJ plant be it males, rejects or runts, and I want to cry when a female dies.

I’ll try and post pictures soon…

I am trying yet another method to root cuttings. After so many attempts to root cuttings I am starting to think that it's not so much the method or technique used, but the chemistry of the person doing the cloning. Others have been successful with rooting cuttings in water, but I can't seem to get mine to live beyond 14 days. They start dying off around 7-10 days, anything that lives beyond that point usually lives. So far I have had a 20-30% success rate (2-3 out of 10 that make roots and live).

i think you're right about the personal chemistry thing. it's sort of like riding a bike. once you get a feel for it/them, your success rate will skyrocket. (i know i know it's all about getting there but you're an intuitive female so the deck IS stacked in your favour).

Howz thingz goin MsBBB?

Howz da cloning?

Cheers
It's going. I put together the Bubble Cloner and some of my cuttings are starting to root, the only thing is that it is taking forever. They are still alive after 3-4 weeks so there is hope. Thanks for asking, I haven't given up yet.

:-D

Hello there BigBudzzzz. Yeah, I have problems popping seeds and cloning. For most people it is super easy, but for some odd reason I am having problems and I've tried many different techniques with only 10-20% success. I think it might be my body chemistry or my house, must be my hot blood. LOL!

Great......slow roots betta than no roots.Glad some thing has worked for you.Do you mean the cuts you have been waitin on are in the bubbler rooting or did you just take new ones?Best thing about bubblers to me is not havin to worry about a dome or keepin humidity up.
