hey all I just picked up a new mr rosin press on Kijiji for a great deal anyway just wondering if anyone has any suggestions on an entry level wax vap pen with ceramic bowl now coils and a cost between $50 and $100. This smoking thing is getting hard on a guy so I figured I will make my own organic rosin with my home grown stone and my friend mr Rosin. I really want something that is discrete and clean of paints glues plastics etc for at work and on the road.

I'm getting a rosin press sampled to me, was going to grab it today but the truck was full so will grab it on Monday. I got tons of kief to test it out on. I believe its this one http://www.hydrotek.ca/rosintek/coming-soon/rep-gold-manual-heat-press-179100 Don't be afraid of the MSRP I get hook ups :)
These type of rosin presses are not well regarded whatsoever. They simply do not provide anywhere close to enough PSI to get the job done. Do some research before parting with your money.

Its free hence I said sampled, If people can use hair straighteners, can't see why a device like that wont work. I'm not talking about producing lb's of Rosin, this is for home use and if it works ok and I can get it cheap who cares. I'm all about deals and getting people deals.

You will get significantly lower yields than with a proper setup. If you're gonna dab on the reg, your looking at losing thousands of dollars over time. So not such a great deal imho. If you don't dab much at all then I guess it's fine. I just can't condone the wastage of precious herb.

Not every one has mulit 100's or thousands to spend on equipment or wants to save every precious piece of tricomb. I'm just getting into electronic music production and if I went with equipment that was professional I'd get one synthesizer and be stuck with nothing. Again I don't know how well it works as I never used it, just said I'm getting it sampled to test out. If it doesn't work I wont promote it.

Which press do you recommend ?
Depends how much you wanna press at once?

Basically, the best bang for buck in the Rosin press game is too buy a shop press and then buy set of plates with PID heaters (there are at least a couple reputable makers in Ontario). A set of 3 x 3 plates with a 10 ton shop press or 6 x 3 with 20 ton press would achieve similar PSI. Tell me that other press has 20 or 40 thousands pounds of pressing ability like a shop press does.

I'm really happy with my puffco plus pen. I got it here, best price in Canada. Highly recommend the pen.

That was basically the original commercially available rosin press on the market. Everybody knows how it functions. Do some research. It's waaaay too late for anyone to promote this product.

Obviously that thing works but that like telling someone to buy a hydraulic lift for their garage when they just need a floor jack and axle stands. Who is going to want a 5 foot hydraulic press in their house when they only grow for themselves.
She or he is right....that unit is not the proper setup if that matters to you. I feel she was only letting you know in advance that once you use it...you will see why. Yes it will work...just not a good as it could. you are also correct in that yes it will do good for most folks. The aluminum plates are not good too start with...they bend...i've seen it. So replacing them is the first thing to do....sorry..but truth Bro...

I understand what she is trying to say and for all I know when I test that machine it'll be crap but saying one should go with some 5ft tall monstrosity if they just want to make small amounts of Rosin is a bit odd. Hell even at Princess Auto a 20 tonne press is still $600 and the press itself weight 200LB+. Who the hell is going to use that to press a few grams of bug.
