lights update plus pics of during testing. if you missed the thread i posted in LED Lighting, i showed how to ballast DIY COB for under 20$. This is that light i used as an example. no need to stuff meanwell's pockets. although theyre pretty cool guys. I think the actual cost per ballast is like 6-7$ this way..... and its fused.

yes hate me for the blurple or the kung pao

top dressed the 5 gal pots with another 2/3c of steamed bone meal powder and 1/3cin the 3 gal pots. mixed into top 3" of the soil and watered in with a small amount of an ACT that's in the brewer. the ACT is 4/3c of fermented citrus, small amount of gypsum, 2/3c of EMe, 2/3c of molasses. in 5 gallons vortex brewed. itl go until tomorrow afternoon. but i just wanted to get the bone meal mixed intothe soil and wetted so it doesnt blow away and starts being dismantled asap by the microbes. i base this on absolutely nothing.

well i went ahead and watered in my tea. not enough tea i guess. soil looks dry already. so im making another quick batch but adding a liquid questionable..ahem... phos extract and some kombucha. still using EMe, molasses and citrus ferment. fpe.

spin spin away. ill water this tonight so the plants feel like they got a brief rainy period and not over drenched. theres 7pots and 5gal of tea just wasnt enough to go around. no solid so really i just want the ph to balance out and get some disolved oxygen in it.

these pics are from last night though. no reason to show the same thing but with wet soil. sampled a small clipping of a mid section from last weekend left to dry until tonight. one hit is all. very high very nice.

I released a few (maybe 10-20) lady bugs in the tent to help clean it up for the next crop and ensure a safe harvest. also released countless more in the outdoors garden. maintaining a smaller terrarium of ladybugs with fruit and basil over a few wet paper towels.

for anyone too lazy to ready the beginning of this journal, the three gallon pots were originally some clones i tossed into the compost. just using up space.

never got around to eating my ghost peppers so i used 8 or 9 and pureed them in a cup of water and diluted it into a half gallon. pretty sure i can dilute it even more. it leaves my hands burning for hours lol
