Moving to RI in a few months

]Hey everybody my names Mark and Im originally from New York currently living in Connecticut. I've been saving up for a while to move all my stuff to Rhode Island, lived in bristol for a little last year. It's lookin like I'll have enough in a few months. I am new to rollitup as of 5 minutes ago and was wondering if anyone in the forum could help me out. Posting in a forum is a first for me and I'm lovin it already. I have paining from disk degeneration in my L3 and L4 vertebre, i have been to many specialists in NYC and given physical therapy a shot as well. When I was younger I was prescribed many opiates but eventually decided to medicate with strictly nuggets. I havent seen a doctor in since I left New York a few years ago and am in search of one in Rhode Island Who could make this medical marijuana thing legit on paper for me. When everything is legit (trying to stay positive here) I'd really appreciate if some people could hook me up with some clones or a mother plant. Hopefully if all works out according to plan I will be located in the Bristol area. Grateful to be apart of this forum.[/SIZE][/SIZE]

Wow thankyou so much Tamorin. My ex girlfriend(were in the process of making ammends) (i gotta prove myself worthy after fucking up so much i the past) lives in Bristol. I have spent my day so far trying to find a house to rent on craigslist. Its great to know theres people out there to lend a helping hand. I was dreading pulling males out of the scrog system im going to give a whack at. I plan on donating my extra meds to patients with ailments such as cancer and MS. Is there someone out there who could set me with people who need this medicine the most?

i just spoke with 11th state consultants and they can definitely help me get my card as long as I bring my records and the mula to an appointment i gotta set up! Man I cant wait to get up there. its lookin like i may be able to make the move october first as long as I find a house to rent. if my landlord finds out im growin can I be evicted??

U can be evicted but.u in return will sue and win I know this because a women did that and they actually put a restraint order on the landlord and made the bitch move. R.I. is the only state with that set up

I plan on doing all my cloning and vegging in a restored 60's camper trailer, all the restoration work was done by a licensed electrician.

Hey friend. I know how hard it is to move into a new area and start growing. It's expensive and hard when you are by yourself. Hopefully your girlfriend understands you growing. If you need any seeds, I got plenty I can give to you. I might have some clones as well, so let me know when you have a definite date.

I live on east side of providence. Beautiful city. North providence is minutes drive from me, and both areas are great. North providence does have it's rough parts thought. I'll look into anyone that might have a place for growers. There are a few real estators that advertise to growers. Don't worry about your girlfriend ruining your dreams of growing ganja lol. My girlfriend doesn't have a card and she helps/smokes all she wants. It doesn't matter that she doesn't have a card unless you get busted for some odd reason (most growers cause it upon themselves to get busted imo) and she happens to be inside the garden without a license.

Tell me about your setup man. What in the world is your veg/clone room? A trail? Wheres your flowering? I just turned 21 as well and am a local grower.

I've only grown outdoor so far. I havent found anywhere to live yet but ideally I want a 1000w on every flowering plant I have , 2 plants per lamp max. Finding someone to rents me out their basement would be SO clutch right now. Im hoping for some serious monsters veg for around 2 months and flower for 7 weeks plus. My dream set up would three strains flowering at a time 4 plants per strain. I hope to water farm half my plants and do the other half in soil. I wanna have all my clones and vegging plants In my camper under a single 1000w. Its a small camper but I only plan on vegging 1 clone at a time (4 plants). Definitely trying to give the SCROG technique a shot. My business hasent really taken off yet so the funds arent up to where i hope they would be at this point. I'll probably start off with buying 2 1,000 watt setups and make a few DWC systems out of 5 gallon buckets from home depot. Im almost at the point where im going to take a loan out to get this shit started. If that doesnt work out I might end up vegging with CFL's . I remember a few years back when i got kicked out of UVM for getting popped with a QP and various hallucinogens and my dad bails me out and before I could get a word in my dad goes "going to school and living in Vermont was your American dream, and you fucked it up". I was doing a little thinking today and I realized that growing marijuana is my real american dream. Ever since I was 14 I've been dreaming of getting an operation together. I've been paying 400 an O for far too long. Being on probation and getting drug tested so i'd have to take opiates were some real dark days. I know i might be biting off more than I can chew here but I've been researching every aspect of growing indoors for a few years now, I think its about time.

Good to hear. I don't know if you want 1000w per plant. Yes it's monstrous trees but where would you keep that size of a plant? I think the best option for you is to focus on getting as much funds as you can before your move, and get your room fully setup after you apply for your card. Takes 3-5 weeks to get processed so you got plenty of time in the mean while. I just restarted my entire room because I moved, and the first thing I did was pop 15 seeds and go immediately to flowering without veg. That way while you have plants vegging your flowering is functioning. I just sold my 16 bucket waterfarm setup, cool system.

Are you still running hydro?? Would u suggest running waterfarms off a single resevoir or a bunch? 2 plants per 1000? 1 plant per 600?? I was thinking if i scrog a few plants it will make room for larger ones. I like your idea of floweing straight from seed off the bat should I do that with regulaur seed or autoflowering?

Waterfarms are amazing. I have never grown so fast without a wf. I used a texas reservoir (42 gallons) for 15 buckets and it works wonders. I would highly suggest getting 1 1000w setup for all of your Flowering plants. I have seen a raptor hood with a 1000w phantom setup completely light up an 8x8ft room. Each of those lights will add around 37$ to your electricity bill every month man... Just look at the most practical way to go for your first indoor harvest. You shouldn't look at size of plants, but instead look at how much medicine you produce at the end. Again, water farms are amazing but expensive. The money you could spend on water farms, you could spend on other elements of your grow room; better lighting, water, nutrients, air circulation, etc. If you want to use water farms, in my opinion, you should buy them after your first harvest once you have better funding. Don't use auto flowers to start from seed on your first go. Let's assume you plant 40 seeds, and after selecting 12 to go onto flowering, you can select some of the others to continue vegging, or take clones off the strong females. You cannot do this with auto flowering. Cannot clone, cannot continue to veg.

So you think I should do soil at first to save a few buckaroos until my first harvest? Im def gunna get the raptor hood with the phantom setup holy shit 8 x 8. What lighting should I get for vegging plants?
