I just moved to portland and it's soo hard to find a hook up. Then quality and price is crazy. Any recommendations?
What are you finding for quality/price on the black market?

Considering what I hear dispenaries and many caregivers are charging, it has to be insane.

If someone wanted to, they could order a ream of security paper for $20(http://www.amazon.com/Security-Medical-Paper-Sheets-Inches/dp/B002UTM7XC/ref=pd_sbs_op_3/190-0129334-9231313), print up the certification form(http://www.maine.gov/dhhs/dlrs/mmm/application-material/Physician-Cert-Form.pdf) and fill it out themselves. I don't recommend you do this, but there isn't really a way for a dispenary or caregiver to check that a physican certification form is legit. I guess they could call the doc and ask, but I have not heard of anyone doing that.

My recommendation would be that you follow the law as best you can. Become a caregiver so you can produce for yourself and make some money to cover the cost of production.

Get a med card and grow it, or get a caregiver to grow it for you. That's all your gonna probably get for an answer around here, this is the medical forum.
or fuck the card and just grow it 99 plants is only a misdermeanor you can make a lot more $$ without a card than with one and you don't need any of the hassle of being legal fuck low plant counts just stay under 99 plants you can even have more outdoors just don't keep them in the same area so they can't link them all to you but you'll have your hands plenty full with 99 outdoor plants.

I could be wrong, I have not researched it, but I think your characterization of what one might expect if caught with say 80 plants ready for harvest might be inaccurate. It is true that 99 plants is the federal limit before it is a felony but I think you'd get considerably more than a slap on the wrist in my scenario.

Or you could go to another forum section other than the medical forum! This isn't the fuckin black market forum. I'm not tryin to be a complete dick, but I come to the maine medical marijuana section on riu to talk about legal, medical related topics.

I currently live in Maryland ..about time I move to a state where I can utilize medical marijuana. Any suggestions on places to live? thanks inadvance
if you like a sort of city environment but cleaner, live in Portland. Rents higher but you get paid more and everything is closer, and it actually has a night life.

Old orchard beach if you like crazy summers and quite winters

York and cumberland county are the most populous by far and make the most money also with higher property values in general.

yeah, that's incorrect as hell. or else everyone would have 99 plants.

It becomes a felony charge at 100 plants. "everyone" doesnet grow 80-90 plants or whatever because your still looking at a max sentence of 5 years in prison, just not a felony charge.

The table on the norml site isn't right.

A misdemeanor can only get you a year.

The cultivation of 5-99 plants is a Class D misdemeanor punishable by a maximum sentence of 1 year imprisonment and a maximum fine of $2,000

If you have more than a pound it is a felony.

But at the federal level, any sale, manufacture or distribution is a felony.

What you are missing is that the plant count is irrelevant at that point. Idk why you're worried about the plant count if the cops show up. What are you going to do with all the bud from your 99 plants?

Just have all your flowers curing at different stages! You are only allowed a certain amount of cured usable medicine, I don't think there is a limit on curing medicine.....

There isn't currently a limit per se on curing bud. Just a definition that says an adequate amount to ensure supply (paraphrasing). I expect that there will be limits eventually, when they enact rules.

You are thinking of Knox County... that encompasses the mid-coastal towns such as camden rockport and rockland. Waldo county is more north and a little west.. with lincolnville, northport, and belfast belonging to waldo (probably a couple extra small towns as well)

yah, my gf lives in one of those towns you mentioned.. i figured rockland and camden were pretty close to her house, maybe a 20 minute drive or so.. wasn't sure if that was still in waldo or not..
