hey guys i'm a new grower and i had to move my grow box from my closet to my garage. at 1st i was dealing with high temps, now in the garage i'm dealing with low temps throughout the night...my timer is set from 5am-11pm on and 11pm-5am off....the temps at my house in the night get into the mid 40's..

my question is can i change my lights to go on throughout the night..will this shock my plants or is it safe? i'd like to change the hours to 7pm-11am

i'm using a 600watt hps light in a very small area so i think the heat will take care of the temp without buying a heater for the grow box. i took all the fans off except my inline fan to cool the light also...so please help guys

thanks in advance!

Once you set your 12/12 cycle it shouldnt be changed. It can cause stunted bud growth and hermie development.

If the garage is too cold you can buy a little space heater for like $20 that should do the job, the only thing is the space heater will dry out the air.

Absolutely change your schedule around, all you gotta do is just keep lights on 24 hours one time and go to the new night lighting schedule, it should be fine.

It should not cause hermie, or too much stress or stunted growth. Try it and be a believer, these plants are tough they can a whole lot more than a bit more light one day. Besides your on Veg cycle anyway. All the better to do it.

if you had 2 diffrent grow boxs with 2 of the same light and have 1 bulb be on while the other one is off and when the one goes off the other one will turn on

and if you don't have a nother light but you have some spare CLFs you could put a bunch into a box and use a fan to blow on them and blow the heat all around your garage
