Hi all,

Sorry for the bad quality of pictures.

I'm 49 days in.
I posted before some pics when I had no mylar or much area to grow in, I've completely cleaned the cupboard out there are still a few things but half as much. These are both AK47 autos, 20/4, 400 watt hps, 1 teaspoon per half gallon of tigerbloom + grow big + big bloom twice per week. Soil Miracle grow and for the left one 35% biobizz lightmix :/ (I ran out) temps 25c bottom plant, 29c top

Both girls taking about a half a gal filtered water a day each.

Light is 12 inches away now, but was just 8 inches before.
right plant is 72 cm height, 60 wide.

As you can see the one on the left is pretty sad. Now I'm confused whether its a heat problem because the heat from the bulb was coming off slightly more to the left, but then again I remembered I ran out of expensive soil and topped than one up with biobizz lightmix, I have heard the nutrients are pretty low so mabe I shouldn't have done that. I'd about 35% of soil mabe more is the lightmix for the one on the left.

Thanks for looking, harvesting in around 2 weeks. I planted on the 8th August.

I agree with brave. I water by weight and weight alone. It's amazing, when you pick the pot for a couple days and it's heavy. Wake the next morning, pick it up and it's light. Like she all of a sudden gets thirsty and sucks it all up

Most do not water daily and suggest only watering when soil has pretty much dried.

Thanks dave and schroederifi. They are in fabric pots I think thats why I am having to water them so often. As for the plant of the left do you think it is due to me 'topping up' the soil with biomix lightmix? or heatburn. The reason I'm saying this is because they are the only two differences as I've as far as I know treated both the plants the same with both the same liquid nutrients. It has some brown spots like these, but the other does not. Any ideas? -

Up the dose of nutrients on the one with brown spots, add some cal mag then wait a few days to see how it reacts. That would be my first guess.

Hi coco bear I have been adding Epsom salts incase it's a magnesium problem, 1 table spoon per gallon. I've only fed it one gallon, should I continue with that. I heard that in the uk our water has decent amounts of calcium in already unlike the U.S. so no need for cal. Do you think it's because the top layer around 40% is biobizz lightmix, how should I go about fixing that problem, I wish I hadn't have done it now, a real unbalance of nutrients amongst the soil as it's not even mixed. Any suggestions welcome. Or has anyone had brown spots from heat? As I said the lamp was slightly over the left more mabe hot spots but do you get brown spots from heat :/

bump, please someone tell me what usually causes brown spots on leaves? Not enough nutes in the lightmix soil which I had to put on top I am thinking right now.

Any more insight?

Experienced growers advice needed..
