More Info On Molasses

I use molasses from veg to end of flower and my buds smell and taste so sweet! It smells like fruit loops when you disturb them The new pineapple rush is good too

So let me get this clear, molasses makes the buds smell/taste better? would it be okay if i use it with my plants they are 3 weeks into flowering.

I just read this whole thread and am not sure if I saw a single pic of molasses-helped flowers. Hmmm. Were there any? Guess I'll have to try it myself tomorrow on the trainwreck!

Very Interesting thread but I agree it lacks photo's. We want to see some photo's of the plants being fed and end results. I found some posts also contradict one another. You have some people saying it does effect the taste and others saying its not possible.
So my question is this

Has anyone done a experiment where they feed molasses to one plant and not the other?
IF so did you notice a taste difference between the two?
Did you notice a difference in the amount you received from each plant?
Did one have more bud and resin development then the other?
Do you have pics?

Molasses is a aquired taste for comsumption. I personally was raised on the stuff and find it to be good. My wife on the other hand cant stand the taste of it. I would hate to change the taste of the strain to something I only like.

I'd like to add if I may.

We use Molasses on lawns as well.
You can buy 50 Lbs dried at your local feed store for $13.00.
I wouldn't spend what the grocery stores want.
What is it $3.00 and up for a small jar?
You can also buy a huge 5 gallon liquid at a beer making supply house as well.

Is it worth using molassis in the last 12 days? I just got around to getting some, and I'm like under 2 weeks away from harvesting? Should I bother or save it for next time?

I use 1 tablespoon per gallon every week.

Save it for next time. The sweet spot to use it is between weeks 3 and 7. From what I have read you actually want to stop using molassis the final few weeks so you can flush with pure water.

Save it for next time. 3 teaspoons per gallon weeks 3 through 7-ish.

I just started using molasses this past wknd, I hope I get good result my plants are almost ready to chop down

If your real close to chop time then you waited to long to start, you need to use it though out the entire life to get the real benefit of using it.

Id still keep using it all the same, just saying don't expect much.
