Believe it or not people are still getting busted for making moonshine.

A holdover from Prohibition and the Great Depression booze has been legal for longer than most people have lived. But making your own distilled liquor is still illegal. They want their 55% tax so that is why it is illegal. Or clams moonshine is bad for you, some of the people making moonshine are pretty old so I have my doubts about this claim.

The question I am thinking if weed were to become outright legal it may become illegal to grow yourself because it would be considered a tax dodge. Something to think about. Laws can be made anyway we want.

The government is all about getting their piece and more often then not it is shrouded in the belief that they care about our safety. That is why I believe that with the legalization of medicinal uses of marijuana is fine for the few out there that really care for the medicinal aspects. For those that are out to make a buck and snub their nose at the government well that is when you hear of raids and dispensaries getting shutdown your not going to get yours without them getting theirs.

We CAN make our own beer and wine for our own personal consumption without being taxed. Legalization of cannabis should take this route.

Making moonshine or poitin(where it comes from)is a bit tricky. If done wrong you can kill yourself or have your still blow up. Now that still gives government no right to tell someone what they should or should not do. These high alcohol % drinks can make you go blind but since when does the blind lead the blind? It's all this fear mongering cloaking a money making operation to regulate and control the vast alcohol industry. Vices should not be an open invitation to exploit. If a person wants to make moonshine they should be allowed to. Politicians should also be voted for monthly allowing instant impeachment if they're not supporting liberty. Since violation of our freedom is a most serious crime, immediate deportation is required.

I purchased :"Georgia Moonshine" in a mason jar with a tax stamp years ago(just vodka)?. I have not looked recently but mason jars are expense! Sale a tax stamp allowing me to grow how many or how much?? Tax evasion moving across state lines should work? It is just a weed. I am all about making things WORK!

i do a run or two a year for medicinal use. i can brew a gallon of shine in about 6 hours, it takes about 6 months for me to grow a gallon of bud.
its way cheaper to buy your booze thou, but, my shine, makes ugly girls prettier way faster than store bought.
is it cheaper to buy your bud in a legal state then grow your own?
