Hey Dynamo! Thanks for the support! Dr. Watt works VERY hard to obtain that data in those videos, we're glad it's providing value to you and your customers.

In regards to the 630w CMH, we don't have anything planned besides a thorough analysis of the Nanolux 1000w DE in the near future, but I feel I need to mention one important note about this "new" tech in the Industry. One manufacturer of this technology is claiming to offer a fixture that will support both the 1000w DE HPS lamp and the 1000w CMH lamp. Here's the problem, in order for a ballast to properly fire a 1000w DE HPS lamp, it needs to be pushing 100+kH, where the CMH only requires 100-200H. Over-powering a bulb like this can be dangerous if the outer jacket isn't dependable the bulb can explode! Nanolux, so far, is the only manufacturer that we know off who's tuned the ballast specifically for a 1000w CMH DE. Cheers!
Square wave form too (ballast)......Much better for CMH and quality output of that bulb...

Welcome aboard.

I've seen someone do this, never developed into anything because it lacked the appropriate DNA, but cool nonetheless!
Within the meristem areas there are stem cells ("blank" unspecialised cells). Unlike animal stem cells, plant stem cells are totipotent - meaning that they can differentiate into any type of cell. Therefore when the cutting is taken from the end of the shoot, the stem cells can differentiate into root cells or shoot cells depending on their conditions.Because the meristems (therefore the unspecialised stem cells) are only located at the tips of shoots, you cant grow a cutting from the middle of a branch. There are lateral meristems all along a plant - they are where branches grow from. Every node on a plant is, or was once, a meristem. That's why you cut just below a node to take a cutting. You could also create a meristem pretty much anywhere by applying auxin. That's why people use rooting/cutting powder, which is NAA, a synthetic auxin. But, a remarkable thing is that a root meristem can be induced anywhere n a stem by applying/inducing excess auxin whereas, a shoot meristem can only be induced at a node.
In conclusion a lack of dna isnt the problem. as far as i know like humans any cell taken has the entire dna code hidden inside. the problem with cloning a leaf is a lack of shoot meristem (a growing node)
