the first pic is how they looked after showing roots and being placed in pro mix.
the second is a mutant that only grew one branch, i cut off the rest of the plant and the one little branch turned into a whole plant that was bigger then all the others.

their in flower now.

Uncle Ben says this thread is a crock of shit, but I'm still going to try Monster Cropping, just like I tried Topping and Fimming and LST and the Spiral pruning one

I agree this does do exactly what the poster says. My last grow was like this. The only thing I noticed was thin branches with tons of flowers. It you are not doing a screen grow ,the plants have so many flowers at the end that it becomes burdensome trying to keep them all up. It's a good burden though:hump: I actually thought mine was too bushy and trimmed them up twice. i had around a dozen flower colas or more per plant. They didn't get as big but with more of them did it really matter.

yu can get multiple smaller buds or fewer larger more potent buds.a plant only puts out so much weght per gallon container, i prefer baseball softball size single buds 3 to 4ft long.i can get 1 oz per gal cont.

how far along are they? they should be really really slow to root and even like a week after root, then they grow like wild.

I am actually using this technique right now. It was really an acident with my out door plants. so they satrted to flower early in the season and i was low on cash and decided to try and re veg them. It worked they went from veg to flowering and back into veg. it took about 5 to 7 weeks for them turn around, but now i am seeing lots and lots of branching. it was some what depressing at first but now im pretty happy with the results. it could have been done a little bit quicker then 5 to 7 weeks but i had little knowledge at the time and worked threw problem which turned out to be a sucess. so if you have any problems with early flowering dont cut them down keep those babys going by all means. its an interesting technique and i encourage u guys to try it at least once, plus you can pick off a little sample bud if its mature enough. by the way great thread

dude im from mendo i found out about this 4 years ago but quickly gave it up, you might
THINK it works the first few times you do it, but you quickly realize the bud quality and YES even the yield isn't
enhanced at all by this technique, its pretty much just a waste of time unless your in desperate need for a clone of that strain and that is already flowering.
personally from experience a plant will grow to its true potential if its not put thru this kind of stress.:joint:

Mendodude. I dont do this indoor. Takes to long. If I have a wonderful mother that I keep year round and I just might do perpetual, how is this a waste of time. In door maybe, Outdoor, I dont put out til mid may anyways. Nothing in my grows chang outdoors except for this. teq and my yeild did increase. Uncle Ben has his own experience and can say whatever. Just because your from Mendo doesnt exactly mean U have plenty of experience in this subject. Peace,SS. Yes, pics will be here soon enough.

obviously dont knock it b4 you try it..I've done this many times even before I knew about this and I can say that not every plant turns out like the larger clone pic with 30 branches but the plants are always more bushy than any other clones you'll take and like it was stated theres no topping involved it's basicly like a natural way to FIM ..
