Hey guys so i dried my harvest for 4 days and they are now are in jars. Ive noticed the thrichs at the bottom look kind of orangey brown since theybe been curing... is this mold at all? The stems are normal looking

Could i get a second opinion? Thanks in advance :)

the very tip of the bud looks a little suspect to me.it may just be the angle, its hard to tell by pic.imo, 4 days is a bit of a quick dry before jarring up.i might take the buds out for a bit depending on what temp and humidity they dried at.let them dry a bit more? bud seems to moisten up a bit after you jar them if theyre still a bit fresh in my experience.gl

The pic does no justice. What you wanna do is break a nug open/peep in the nug. Mold is easy to spot most the time. And will have a grayish look to it.

ive found that once dried, mold can also take on a brown color.definitely gray on a living plant.post up another pic if you can

and not all is lost.it may just be on that bud and jarring it exacerbated it.look over your buds and get them out of your jars for a little longer.
how often do you open your lids?

ok,gotcha,i didnt scroll down the first time.idk man.....not being there i cant give you an answer 100%.ive had my share of run ins with rot growing outdoor living on the coast, but im not so sure you have it.nothing really jumps out at me,looks normal.your first pic must have been the angle because in the second pic,it does not look bad.one thing ive found with rot,is when you have one bud site or nug we'll say that has rot,if you pull it off the stem that it's pressed up against, the stem will have a whitish/gray stripe where the bud layed against it.if that makes sense at all.the stem will looked bleached

Got those late bro. I've seen buds get rot too. It fucking sucks. That doesn't look bad. But the worst is that it looks like small traces of mold. The dark hairs look suspect too. Shave it with the end with your scissors. It can be saved.

My weed kinda looks like that too and have been wondering the same thing. I only noticed it on a few pieces up on my dry line but it's been almost 4 days and I'm noticing a few more like the ones you have pictured

Idk.. looks like some frosty bud to smoke to me but im no expert. Ive seen some moldy outside bud before but it was more advanced and looked nothing like yours.

Some of my stuff has gone into bottles at 85% rH but i put a hygrometer in all the bottles and drop it all under 70 within a day or two and ive never had a mold issue. I usually bottle 3-4 days after the initial harvest and hanging. I hang 12 - 18" long stems.. for reference.

In my experience, under a loupe mold will look kinda like spiderwebs. Trichome stalks and heads will wither up a bit and some heads will fall off during the dry and cure, but they are still discernable as trichomes. Take a safety pin and scrape a little. If its mold, the webs will stick together a bit but stay looking like webs or even like cotton. Think light, whispy strands. Trichomes will break, gunk up, but not look like webs or cotton.
