Mold, or not to mold..

When mold grows on harvested nugs that are drying, where does it actually start from? Would I be able to see it if I were checking them everyday, or would it grow from in inside out.. Just harvested and when I put my 70 pint in my room it makes my temp go up past 75.. I'd rather risk the chance of mold then have them dry to fast and smell like hay.. The stats with out the 70 pint is 60/70rh. 68-70temp

So my question is.. Where would the mold form if in fact there was actually mold forming.. Inside? On the outside? Start to form on the spots where the nugs are touching the hangers?

It just depends, but mostly starts from where the stem and bud meet. Id take the buds off the stem, they will dry faster. Heres what I do: put my nugs on drying rack for 24 -48 hrs in my dark ac room. (24-48 depending on size of buds). Jar it (curing) for 12 hrs, throw them out on the drying rack again for about 24 hrs and jar it again and burp for 3-5 days. By then the hay smell is gone and the chloryphil has broken down and the strain becomes a vibrant aroma. Snapshot of budrot

Albosolutly, it starts from the stem becouse thats where the most moisture is (typicaly) . If your in a jar or other container check the corner/bottom areas a little closer becouse thats where the least ventilation will be as well as possible condensation
