mold in 35%rh

Hey guys i have three cheese plants about a week into flower at about 3 feet tall. I have had mold issues in the past and for this grow i cleaned everything down with bleach and put up plastic wrap around the carpeting and all surrounding walls. im in a small closet and also have a dehumidifier and ac in the room hooked up to a thermostat. Im using c02 and the temps are between 78-82 at all times and never varies, the humidity right now is at about 35 and never climbs beyond 45. I have spotted two very very small hardly visable patches of mold on two of the leaves. i plucked them off and when i woke up 2 days later i found another spot still hardly visable. if the humidity never climbs beyond 45 will this be an issue later in flowering? Im planing on getting some kangen water at 2.0 ph just incase but is there anything else that i need to do to rid myself of this bastard that wont leave.

The easiest thing to do would be to change the conditions of the environment to something that the mold cant reproduce in.
Having a constant temp of 78-82 is not a good idea, your temps should come up to a peak of 82 during the light cycle, bring it down to 68-70* at night.

Room conditions, especially temp are almost as important as your light cycle.

Start adjusting the temps, if the mold or mildew cant reproduce you wont have an issue.

Sounds like a fairly small grow, but you could look into sulfur pots, use them well and use them wisely and they will be very helpful.

Im using co2. why would there be mold on them at all though the temps have never been above 45 in the whole grow and is usually closer to 38-40 cause im terrified of getting mold

is there an advantage to having the temps drop at night or is it better to have a constant temp of 78 through the whole grow?

From all i've heard 78-82 is too high. Well not TOO high, but higher than optimum. 70-75 is ideal. of course that would mean running your air conditioner alot. I do my best to keep all cool w/o AC and temps stay 75-80 during light. I really haven't monitored night temps, but I will need to soon as fall is here & they are in a non-heated basement. It stays fairly warm in there but they prolly need a little assistance over the next month or two.

Also, could you post pics of the mold spots. I've never had a mold problem in my very limited experience. But right now, like i told ya things are in a basement & it has an earth floor, so it's impossible to keep things sanitary & ideal in there. also humidity is around 65! I know that's too high. I just wanna know what to look for so I can catch it early hopefullly.

82 is perfectly fine with co2 and should help as far as i know to curb mold. mold should be apparent in high humidity and low temps but i have neither and i didnt think it could grow under 40rh% I must have missed a spot in my room on the initial clean.what should I do before i get too far into flowering. there at day 8 at the moment and completly healthy minus the small spots ive found, i just know how quickly this shit spreads.

ps i had my temps 70-75 with co2 last grow and have found 78-82 to be a much faster grow.

82 is ideal temp for mold to reproduce, that is bad, like I said before, having temps up to 82 Can be Ok for periods of time during C02 saturation, but this is is the temp you would want your room to peak at during the light cycle, it should never be actively kept that warm 24/7 thats just asking for trouble.

Yes there is a lot of advantages to having temps drop at night, there have been studies proving that during veg cycle, having the temps drop to 68-70 for 6 hours during the "night" cycle is more important than turning the lights off for that 6 hours.\

Also you never ever ever want to be running c02 at night, or overdosing your plants with c02, cannabis uses c02 AND o2, weed does use oxygen, and it uses a lot more at night when photosynthesis shuts down.

Bringing those temps down gives the plant a chance to cool down and relax, it triggers the response of an actual night cycle instead of just shutting down photosynthesis.

The co2's on a the same timer as my lights. all the books i've read said that mold grows in enviorments of 76 degrees and bellow and 50% and above relative humidity.

some one please help its spreading slowly but i found very small spots on 2 other leaves. rh has not been above 35% for about 5 days and has never been above 40 in flower and 50 in veg.

It is strange to hear of mold growing at such a low RH. It must be some seriously nasty shit bro. good luck

theyve been in the closet for over a month now, why signs of it now? is there a mold that harbors inside the plant possibly?

Post up some pics if you want good advice.

It sounds like a genetic predisposition IMHO. You might wanna think about growing sativas.

no camera yet. I know its mold just not sure why its there. Are sativa's known for being more mold resistant than indica's.
