Molasses & Fox Farm ???

Lowkster.... Unsulphured Molasses will add an NPK value of 5-1-3, if mixed one ounce to one gallon of unchlorinated water. So one use, is a cheap all natural fertilizer, full of trace minerals.
.
I say unchlorinated water, because most people (myself included) use this in fertilizer tea mixes to (2nd use) feed the microbeasties (good bacteria & fungi) in our teas. These microbeasties will break down all insoluble NPK in the soil over time, making it very soluble (available) to your plants.
.
Give this a read - it might help:

Hope this helps....
Keep it Real...Organic....
molasses has little or no nute value. It helps the miro bugs in the soil. In turn the micro bugs help the soil stay healthy and that helps with nutrient uptake to the plant.

A good rule of thumb when mixing nutes is to use 15% less when mixing them, that goes for organics soil and hydro, even when mixing molasses with things like fox farms nutes

Btw if your using fox farms nutes you have no micro bugs. There are only oike 2-3 in the fox farm line that doesn't contain synthetics ... the molasses acts as carbs and natural sugars also a p boost, slight calcium and iron also, to much can make your plants lazy and slow there photosynthesis to a crawl as she isn't having to produce nearly as much sugar any longer, in a true tlo grow yes it feeds the micro besties mostly the mico fungas's, using anything with synthetically chelated salts kills the little guys once the salt builds up. .. Then you are just feeding your plants not the living soil

Theres nothing wrong with using foxfarms and no it wont kill all microbe life, if it did then foxfarms wouldnt incorperate bushdocters kangaroots and microbrew in there schedual, however if over used it will kill everything including your plant. Think about it this way, if you eat fating and unhealthy foods like sugar and groung beef it will clog your arteries, "phloem" and you will get fat and unhealty and probly die sooner and your body wont grow to its full potential! Same thing with plants you can grow with synthetics but i would advice any synthetic use to be used by tha millaliter if any! I grow organically with just a dash of sythetics to help with plant stregnth and vigor and tha more you flush tha better, i flush a litlle every other watering with synthetics with foxfarms use sledgehammer just a little everyother watering and you will be fine!!!

Synthetic fertilizer SALTS will kill microbial life PERIOD. You do not know what you are talking about at all. You do not grow organically if you use synthetics. Your comparisons make little to no sense as well. Fox Farm synthetic nutrients feed the plant not the microherd, they kill the microbes and feed the plant directly.

he mentioned full potential yoda, theres hope ! keep what is worth and tell him what we can do to support our substrates...one more time!^

If you wanna get critical everything on this earth is organic even salt!!! Smartass theres nothing wrong with a little electrical shock to wake um up especial with actual electricity!!! Lol water is a great conduit! Are we all full of shit or is it just me!

nice device^
but...salts & non native chemicals definetly tend to morph the soil structure & biology therefore inducing dramatic changes into the microherd performance. That shit happens quick as fuck
Also sugars can harass the soil biology. A water flood halt them for a while...etc etc

in case you dont want to go further than teaming with microbes, dont panic, its just soil! avoid overwatering^

I just started using Big Bloom, Microbe Brew, Root Drench, and Boomerang with 1 Tbsp per gallon of water for Veg and it seems to be doing better than using the ff nutes alone.. when flowering begins in a few weeks, I will include Bembe for the bloom, ff gave me good results last grow so I figured I could use less of the synthetic side of foxfarm nutrients. (I am adding these starting ag 1/4 tsp to a gallon and working my way up to 1/2 the recommended dose.

If you're trying to feed microherd, I prefer RAW brand agave nectar...its already fructose and the bacteria dont have to break down any sucrose like they would with molasses

If you grow organically and use synthetics, this is called "semi organic" and you can even grow organically, synthetically... Im sure you know, Organic is just relying on the nutrients to be broken down in order to be available for plants and does not require micro biology. You can use humic and fulvic acids and many other ways as well. Besides, this subject is way understudied by scientists and this is just their given theory.

i know this is Old but never know if it will pop something...
I was under the impression that molasses needs to be used in organic soils? If so, How would FFOF be of any use with this tech? i use humboldt + FFoF mixed aswell.
Don't use molasses in hydro, organic go for it.

I fall under the term "semi-Organic". If you run synthetics you are synthectic regardless of medium. True semi are those who only tolerate urea. Which we all oddly produce and expel daily. The majority of other synthetics are detrimental to organics. Add a maximum of 1 Tsp. per gallon water to every other feed, at least to maintain soil organic life. May as well run coco with full synthetic nutes.

Medium doesn't matter. Will plug a hydro up.
It provides no benefit beyond trace minerals in hydro. Has no place there. Will not clog up unless over used. Highly water soluble. But a waste of time and food source for unwanted organisms.
