@Twitch. Brought up the novel concept of tossing in sub categories for Solvent and Solventless

This makes sense to me, anyone else think this is warranted or is this adequately presented as/is?

No preference, other than to note where I have seen that done, it makes the dry sieve and bubble forum threads easier to find, but participation on them appears less, and they periodically spill into the solvent extraction forums.

May keep more of the zealots of the two different approaches apart and reduce infighting.

Sometimes nooobies post on the wrong thread, but sometimes crusading zealots proselytize for converts, usually with tales of motherhood and apple pie, while casting solvent extraction as a crime against intelligence and humanity in general.

There is also a point where the two cross, such as some of WolfWurk's customers who can't solvent extract the sheer volume of trim following outdoor harvest, so dry sieve the bulk, but because there is no market for it, solvent extract the kif.

Also there are a few threads worthy of sticking in the c and e section.

Can't think of them off hand but I'm sure one of the regs know of some

if we create too many sub categories its becomes a huge problem for newer users to place things in proper locations ect. if we spread the forum too thin its becomes little amounts of information in certain parts.

I don't think it would improve on anything...
Like the thread just made on how to store shatter or wax or whatever it was. too much could easily be missed that pertains to others. Mechanical vs chemical extraction or whatever still gives you nearly the same result of mostly trichrome heads or a homogenous mix of the contents. They should be treated the same especially if you've ruptured the heads through pressing like most do now.. Idk if my point is coming across clear enough..

But there are several threads worthy of stickies, a lot of questions seem to be on repeat. If anything subsection's to remove clutter could be an ecig or closed loop section and parts\tools . I'd be more comfortable with that than solvent\solvent less.

My little ¢
