Make me.

Idiots like you will only serve the giants by pushing the honest little guys away.

It's sound more and more like there's a bunch of dg's butthurt about their easy ride vanishing. Who's actually shilling here? Lol.

Didn't know this was your forum or thread to speak on behalf of.

You lost sucker. Even when it's legal for rec use there will be standards. The days of picking off mites with masking tape and passing it off as medicine is long gone.

Enjoy the ride. I know I am.
Feel free to buy all the weed from LP's all you want...sucka. Pay more it makes us feel good ya moron.
Stick to the black side...ya gonna loose your shirt.
I certainly don't need to reveal any growing secrets too you. Cause your masking tape comment revels your stupidity I'll let you make your own bed here..keep talking I need a good laugh.
Private growers will always have the best bud.....that's already been proven.
Yes you wanna beez keep buzzing.
Cause from what I see It's all going so well so far.
Why would you jump on the train to failure..what ever

In fact, since there is no monograph for Cannabis in any of the Pharmacopoeia they let you use, there is a lot of flexibility in the cutoff limits and methods you can use.
When did you apply? The first application I saw that referenced a pharmacopoeia was before they even had a list of options. They applied using something from the United Nations and suddenly 4 weeks later Health Canada started issuing some recommendation on standards.

I haven't seen much - I know that American Herbal Pharmacopoeia has put together some sort of monograph for Cannabis, but I don't know if it will ever be an approved guideline.

I also understand the difference between chemical drugs and plants, but the reality is that the standards still aren't quite the same from what I've seen. I spoke with guys running ginseng operations, growing things like St. John's Wort, etc. It's still not quite the same from what they said after going through the QA and SOP requirements.

The application does everything it can to ensure it is millionaires only and most are, or become, corporations serving their shareholders. Your dream of the "little guy" LP is a long shot, are any of the 13 LPs "little guys"?
.
Well said Kron....to any LP wannabeez that are not already wealthy, your money would be better spent on lottery tickets...or a really nice BM grow ;)

This is just my honest opinion of course

I beg to differ. I know of 3 "little guys" who are very far in the running.
I know of one who should be licensed and there's no regulations left to stop them, so I do believe that group will make the cut.

That said, they've already spent $50k+ getting this far.

As an EX-LP wannabee. My optimism has faded. For every obstacle I hurdled, two more were put up. I am now a firm believer the MMPR was custom tailored to fit a very small percentage of the public...."the public" being a bad choice of words

There is a silver lining though...in my quest to become a decent tax paying pot grower, I discovered that I dont want to be one. That I'm much better off being a scum bag black market grower..and that is where I belong.

I first applied in August 2013, but from the very beginning all of the QA requirements were based on "schedule B" documents, which is just a group of pharmacopoeias (including the UN Pharmacopoeia). Ironically, the American Herbal Pharmacopoeia is the only one that has a monograph specific to Cannabis and it is not accepted. As a result, you are forced to use the generic monograph that each one has for herbal preparations. I was surprised that they didnt go to the trouble of creating a specific monograph for the MMPR. You would think that if they took QA seriously they would have set an industry standard rather than passing the buck and letting companies choose which one serves them best.

Since the QA requirement in the MMPR are based on generic monographs, they are exactly the same as what people are supposed to be doing for other herbal products (with the obvious exception of measuring cannabinoids). According to HC, the pharmacopoeia monographs should be used as a minimum standard for natural health products. I dont know how well these are enforced in other industries, but your friend who produces herbal products is supposed to be following them if they are selling products in Canada.

Eh Kron, hows your battle going? I'm guessing your still in the trenches?

The Hippy, and GB123, I am calling you guys out for being a couple of assholes, you wanna put people down eh, well I'll say that I think that the two of you are pieces of shit. Why don't you two go to another thread if you don't like what is going on with the MMPR LP system? We really don't care that you don't like the new system, in fact most of us don't like it either, but it is all we have to work with, or we could keep crying on here you little pussies are. Keep growing illegally for the black market, that's a really progressive and great long term plan, well, for a dumbass like Hippy or GB123 at least. Soon your black market will be gone, taken away from you by the new LP's. Keep cheating the taxes, because you shouldn't have to pay taxes while every other business or revenue generating venture in Canada is required to, right? Keep kidding yourselves that you can grow better medicine at your house than can be grown in a lab environment with QA, you're a couple of jokers that are way too stupid to realize that the shit you grow in your basement is exactly that, SHIT!!!! What kind of an education do you have? Ever taken a microbiology course???? Hippy my ass, I have never met a hippy with such a poor attitude. I wish the moderator would just block your posts, you have nothing but negativity to add. I don't like to call people out but you guys are directly throwing hate towards members of the forum, members who are actually contributing, and providing a worthwhile read. Go to another thread, one on how you want to keep your DG licenses or something, this thread is for MMPR Grow op: Small Scale, not your BS.

No, I'm down for the count. Luckily we saw the writing on the walls before we invested much money in the process.

Once we got the zoning problems sorted we re-applied, but they had changed the system so much that our location and application that made it to the next phase originally was no longer acceptable. They keep changing the rules, and it became obvious that I was not the applicant they are looking for.

Based on the first application, I was very optimistic and I still think we had a good shot. It seems that the whole system has changed, and not for the better. I really think they are screening out the people who care about the green in favor of those who care about the other green. They probably think that licensing the corporations will select against the less reputable types, but I think they have it backward.

Hi oddish: do any or all of the 3 applicants you referred to have their "ready to build" letters? It seems that HC has limited them and has not released one in about 8 months.

Just break outta the mental institution did ya Junior. Sure put all your eggs into the LP basket...cause a little fellow like you deserves to loose all his money. I guess ya figure if you tell me off enough things will change eh. No wonder your 4 posts new here.
I'm glad it infuriates you so much though. That good for laughs in itself.
You seem a little pissed that the LP gravy train ain't stopping in your town.
Well go back to sleep and dream on. Cause it is all gonna fail for you and a lot of other stupid people.
And if I was a black market supplier like you claim I am, I wouldn't sell any to people like you. That would dirty my hands and I like em nice and clean.
Please put everything you have into your LP wishes. Or are you seeing how you ain't never gonna get rich or even make a living off MMJ. Well don't feel bad as lots of folks are learning the same lesson you are now.
If your a patient I recommend Tweed, you'll enjoy the selection I'm sure lol
And by the way my education or really anything truthful about me will never be know to you. But I'm flattered you care so much anyway. I wouldn't revel anything to an internet goof. But as I said it nice that our so annoyed by it all. I'll have a smoke and chuckle to myself about your frustration. Too bad you can't make everything nice on the internet for your enjoyment and reading pleasure. That just too bad you gotta put up with me and the other folks here.
Been on this planet way too long to be brusseled by a junior boy. I bet I was into things before you were even born. You sound ....young and new to the scene. That's okay though , we all had to start some where.
Anyways I hope you notice.....I never swore at you once in this whole post..better than you did.
