Ok hello all i live here in washington state and i have thought about applying for a MMJ card.I do have real reasons as to why i smoke as also to recreacional use.My spine is 3 inchs out of place i use to go to the chiropractor every week to get an adjustment made.Well i no longer go because i felt it was not helping at all in the long run. Also i have lots of aching due to my work(nylon screen printer) and i am constantly on my feet 40 hours a week always standing and putting all my weight on one leg 800 times a day when i have to hit a pedal to activate the press. So this is causing more pain.
My question is if i get a MMJ will that prevent me from ever joining the military im 19 and want to join the airforce when i drop this 25 pounds(i do go to the gym lol)
so are there any previous military on here that can help me with this question

Do not tell them you were a MMJ patient and do not show up with thc and they will not know.
Your medical condition could preclude you though.

Hey brotha, I was in the navy for a little over 7 years, and I have alot of family that is and was in the military! I am very familiar with the military! Charface is right though, your spine issue is going to make the Military not want you! And NEVER tell them you used drugs, not even experemented! It will follow you around so just say you never had the desire. Now onto your back issue, what I would do if I were you is, lie and get into the Air Foce if you can. Spend a good 5-8 years in the service you should be an E-5 by then. Then go to medical and complain that your back has been hurting you lately. ;)

BAM 100% E-5 pay the rest of your life with full medical VA benifits! LOL Just an idea if you would like to be setup the rest of your life and only have to work 8 years! ;)

If you are the honest type then I would advise you to not join any military! The world is getting worse, the military keeps floating the idea of cutting/restructuring retirement benifits, Cruises/deployments keep getting longer and longer! The military isn't what it use to be anymore. It is becoming all pussyfied, coddling every fucking crybabby in this world! If you are dead set on joining the military and you are going to retire from there then go to school get a degree and go in as an Officer! But you back issue is going to be a problem!

If I were you I would get your MMJ card and look into a job that isn't as hard on your back! You are 19 and already in worse shape than me at 35! No job will take care of you only you can! I know you don't see it now because you are young but you only get one body in life, there are millions of jobs out there! Don't ruin yourself for any company, they will never be able to pay you back!
