Sounds good. I'll have to take some ag business classes for the degree. I would take every class they offer if I had time.
I like business class because they're really easy credits and everything you do in class is for your business, so you get a lot done for free. I took my class as an A course and got it done in 8 weeks which was murder, but now I have so much more time for my garden!

I will definitely remember that. I'm signed up for plant identification over the summer and soil science plus Spanish class in the fall. Spanish will definitely come in handy working in agriculture.

I can only handle a couple classes at a time with the 3 little ones at home so it will take me a while to finish, but by the time the kids are older, I will have a degree and a great start to my goals.

You sound like a busy lady! Good for you though, college ain't easy when you have to work, I can't imagine with 3 kids, you gotta be strong to handle that.

Spanish is definitely something you'll need, basically everyone in a supervising position needs to be fluent. When I shut down my desert grow house I had a few months of rent to pay for and a bunch of water damage to repair, so when I ran out of flower I went and worked the fields. It was difficult not only because it's brutal and intense labor, but because most days I was the only English speaker, but I didn't know any Spanish. My fellow laborers would get frustrated because to compensate I would work my hardest to not fall behind. They would be way behind me getting mad because I was making them look bad. I thought I was doing everything wrong though, it wasn't until my foreman came and told me I was her best worker, and explained the situation to me. She said if I learned Spanish she'd promote me to foreman. I should have stayed, my amigos who kept up with me all became a foreman, and since then been promoted to district inspectors covering 3 states. One of them was 7 years younger than me, he makes over 150k a year now. And I left the fields only 15 months ago. Ain't that some shit? Lol

Damn! Gives me hope that I can be successful in this field as long as I work my ass off. I tend to work myself until I'm sick at night, and then smoke to recover.

Anyone else doing anything fun today?

I'm BBQing some kabobs. Teriyaki chicken, pineapple, mushrooms, and bell pepper. A few of you got to try it at the 420 BBQ. Everyone's food was so good. I can't wait until the fall. I will have to make something different next time.

And later this evening I'll probably go do some work in the veterans community garden once the sun cools down a little.

Unfortunately the Yumboldt 47 had to get taken out because she was right were a fence post needed to go for the new greenhouse frame. She was throwing a lot of pistils anyway so I will just light dep her. The Grape Ape may have to go too. Trying to fit a grow into 200 sq ft is ridiculous. It doesn't leave any wiggle room at all.

Hey everyone. Sorry I haven't been updating lately. I recently filed for divorce and life has been a little intense, both good and bad. The grow is still going well. Nothing huge but healthy. I talked to a local officer who said they probably wouldn't be bothering me this year in spite of the ban on outdoor because of the relatively small size of my grow. She said they have bigger issues.

GL with the new chapter of your life (i wish my daughter would leave the dick she is with..sorry digressing..)

Plants look healthy as always.
It's ok. I wish I had the strength to leave a lot earlier. I got three beautiful kids out of the marriage but that is the only positive thing I can say looking back. I just wasn't ready to leave when I knew I my head I should have.
