Mixing strains all on same grow cycle?

Hey guys Im a new grower interested in growing soon and was wondering is there anyway I can mix different strains all on the same grow cycle? Thanks!

not sure exactly what your question is. indicas and sativas need a light schedule to determine a cycle, ruderalis does not. The majority of all strands can be grown together in a 18/6 or 20/4 light cycle, with a 12/12 to flower. Ruderalis will skip the vegging cycle and go straight to flower on any light cycle.

yeah sure, go for it. my record I believe was 5 at once. More varieties means you can switch strains and not build up a tolerance to your fav strain(s)

Ok so would all strains still be able to be grown together even if one was a hybrid and the other a all sativa or indica.?

The only problem with growing different strains in the same room is how they differ in growing. Some will grow taller than others and more than likely they will require different nute schedules. Once all the different stuff I have going on in my flowering box finishes I will be doing a run of greenhouse seeds the church in a mini sog

Well what exactly is a nute schedule?

You need to look up the strains you are growing to see what their MO is. Height, flower time, indica, sativa etc...

A nute schedule is how much nutrients you add to water and how much. For example I am using Fox Farms nutrients, here is the schedule that I use: http://www.foxfarmfertilizer.com/soilfeed.pdf
Each plant will require different amounts of nutrients during the veg and flowering period so you will have to be mixing up different batches of nutes for each strain to ensure they are growing healthy.

Oh ok well maybe there is a way that I can surpass this problem. Is it possible that I just pick plants with same flowering times? Would that be smart to do?

You would want to pick plants with the same flowering times and similar growth characteristics... You don't want a plant that is a heavy feeder and one that burns really easily in the same box because you couldn't mix up nutes to make both plants flourish

mine was everything, super stretchy Asian Sativas, Sativa Hybrids and Indica hybrids. The Sativas I tied down, the stubby Indicas I propped up on empty pots, coffee cans, whatever to get the tops all level at the canopy. When the the earliest is ready it got pulled ahead of the longer maturing ones and harvested. The remainders then got more light and produced more, andf so till the last one was ready then as they say it was lights out.
This is impossible to do with hydro of course.
