missed watering

they were wilted, few of leaves on top were dried out and yellow, 400 watt hps was about 10 in. from tps, was it to close or no water,or both moved to up just in case, plants came back nicely, a senior moment

10" is pretty close to a bare bulb.. 16"" would be better.. without water plants will burn easier..
I would say both contributed equally!

its only a 400 watt . 10 inches is good . if your concerned about the 400 watt . you dont want to see how close i have a 1000 watt hps . those fuckers are hitting the glass . some of them are but air cooled the 600 are about 12 inches not air cooled but a lot of air movement . this guy might be cooking the shit out of them we dont know possible zero air movement . burn baby burn ,
