Minimize growing time: To top or not to top?

Hey guys.

What I want to find out is, does topping cause much longer flowering / growing time? The reason I ask is because I have limited time to grow, and i'm scared if i top it will take too long! My young plants I just put into flower, and I want to harvest by late November/early December.

Thanx in advance!

I realise that, my question is more of comparing time it takes for a plant to grow if it has to produce the extra tops, vs the time it would take without topping.

It is going to increase your veg time a little...the plant switches its hormones to the next highest set of branches and turns them into colas. It takes a little while for them to grow out.

Try lst'ing it wont slow them down at all.Just rope the tops over and let her rip.If your in flower dont top.I only top in veg.In flower I just wait for them to get done.I've roped in flower but only due to a leggy bitch and do this in veg too just before they go to 12/12.
