My palnts are at week 7 and iv just notices millions of what I think are springtails on the sirface of my coco and just under .they jump around when I poke them and they look like the google images for springtales , im guessing theyv been there for a while and thr plants seems ok ,

Lots of conflicting opinions on google as to whether they are good or bad ? Anybody have any insite?

ya, they're beneficial, but a nuisance, imo. a dose or two of h2o2 gets rid of them. bennies will have to be re-applied.

i had them one time, scared the shit out of me as i thought they were eating the roots or something, i tried a variety of things but nothing worked, the plants made it to harvest with no signs of ill health so i can only assume they don't do much harm. when you water do they come out of the botttom of the pot as well as floating to the top?, because thats what mine were like. there were thousands of the little shits
