um a swamp is probably too wet of an environment. i dont know it might not be the murky bug infested swamp that im imagining but i dont think its ideal growing area. because of how moist swamps are you will probly hardly ever need to water it if its in the ground. IF i grew at a swamp then it would be in a pot of my own soil and i would water it with distilled water evry other day if it hasnt rained.

you will have alot of pest/ insect problems out there because they like that moist environment. i heard somewhere on this site if you piss in a wide circle around your plants it will keep animals away. and if you put coarse sand around the plant bugs wunt be able to lay eggs around its roots. thats reall all i know about pest controll i dont trust growing outdoors

i think the best thing you can do is make your own little resevoir close to you grow, so u dont have to be carriyng water all the time, and put some barb wire arround them, check out my grow i have them on a rooftop in something i built.

what up my fellow Midwest Christmas tree farmer. Swamp land isn't the ideal place for growing because of the the bugs, but it is doable. I've heard good and bad things about sand, personally I don't use it but its your call. I wouldn't water with swamp water. I use rain water when I need it, I have buckets with screens on them to keep animals and things out of the rain water they catch. Piss all over and it will keep most animals out of your area. As for the clouds its been cloudy around here the past few days as well but the drizzle is nice....when the sun comes back out the leaves will be praising the sun gods all day long =). They are plants man, they dont mind a cloudy day every now and then. feel free to check out my thread "6ft tall and starting to show preflowers"

most swamp areas are high in acids and high leves in mineral deposits like sulfur. Prob not such a good place but if your just using bag seed shit y not try it. Small Animals love the sprouts tho so chicken wire might not work, unless you bury it about 2 feet down, or keep em in pot for a while then plant em, but you might lose those too.

there about a foot tall now so i dont have to worry about that and they have been there for a week and there doing fine what could i put down to help level out the ph

Your going to want to put up a fishing line fence and also spray the outsides of your containers and the surrounding area with liquid fence or repels all. Your also going to have to test the ph of the water and adjust it with ph up or down. Most people say that the ph of swampy water is too acidic but the swamp I'm using is 7.5 so i have to lower it. Keep an eye out for bud rot. Once they start to flower it might help to shake the plants after it rains so they dry out faster. Good luck!

but wat about it being cloudy for the last
week?
It is sometimes cloudy in nature, nothing you can control unless you are a weatherperson. Ok j/k bout the weatherperson comment lolz. But yeah your ok, even cloudy days they are getting things they need.

And as far as ph, you said they are in pots, are you still having a ph issue with the mix in the pots?

kinda cause the water im using is from the bog which is acidic i used a pool test stripe and it only want down to 6.4 and thats wat the strpe ead so the water is bad so i brought along some bakeing soda and added that to the water and put lime on the soil think that will help?
