Yeah, I'm actually holding myself back from ripping apart every old electronic device I have to find the resistor I need cause I really don't like radio shack. I may go there tomorrow. Probably spend $50 on crap just to entertain myself.

The clone in moss is outside, looks like it may survive what ever that smell is coming from.

Check out what I made... I spent $5. I think it will be worth it, more money then that went down the drain killing batteries.

I killed the reddish one... stupid me using a 30w iron instead of 15w like I should of... plus I am out of practice. Got two LEDs white and blue. They have like 180 angle which is horrible unless I wrap the container in foil, I won't though.

I love this, it is the perfect night light for me.

I think I'm going to make another but with just white LEDs, they are cheaper and easier/smaller circuits.

I bought some white LED night lights for $1.50ea..

The circuit is different then the other white ones cause it is photocell and not on/off switch. Long story short I got the red LED to work off the circuit and was feeling quite accomplished... stuck it in the container and shortly after POP!! You know that sound when metal turns to vapor. I didn't insulate it well enough and the AC arched, yeah that red LED is fried now. Where it arched there is a chunk of metal missing.

It looked perfect with one blue one red and one white LED, now its back to white and blue.

I'm going to make a 2 liter Micro Grow. I'll use 3 or 4 white LEDs. I bought a "patio" tomato to grow in the 2 liter.

Interesting stuff, keep posting your trial and errors. I may build a 2L micro grow with flowers in it for my lady.

Sorry I didn't make a step by step cause I didn't want to waste time when someone else was helping.

Putting these together was great entertainment, kept me busy for days without a thought of boredom. When I'm not so busy with other projects I'll have to build a different one, I still have left over supplies.
