MICRO BLOOM ½ liter grow container.

I'm bored again... Here some pics of my work in progress...


I'm working on the bottom now.

Digital light meter says at the bottom its 2700 lumens, so as it grows it will receive more.

I've never used straight moss and GH before =] any tips would be nice

I'm going to make holes once it has more roots its a 5 day old cutting, just started having roots.

I need a resistor so I can make it run off a USB port or 5v dc... I can't find my 4.5v dc... I think I stripped the wires on it making colloidal silver, and after threw it away.

I tried hooking it up to USB without a resistor... so now I'm using a 9 LED one... which puts off less lumens then the 5 LED I just broke ={

Can you give some details of the LED used...

Maybe wrap a little foil or mylar around the neck of the bottle to act as a sort of reflector...get your light focused a bit.

Yes I mean Lux. The LEDs are from flash lights.... the ones that take 3 AAA batteries... they have similar white LEDs.
The relfector for the 5 LED was more efficient then the 9 LED. Pics soon for new one

Cool way to start a grow.

Running the LEDs off 3v puts out only 800 lux... running at full power actual produces heat, enough to melt the hot glue. I need to find my super glue.

added some vent holes.... gana run it for a while to see how hot it gets

Yeah I do stuff like this to entertain myself =] Once it starts growing I'll try and manually flower it OMG first time for that

Just be careful not to cook the LEDs... (too many amps through the diodes)

ok so should I open up a 9v and use half of the cells? I though it would just take what it needs out of the batteries, I though just a DC supply would push out a certain amount and need a resistor... I have not done much with electronics other then plug fan in... for like 8 years

I forgot I already had the power supply... duh the one from the flash light thats for the LEDs... I smoked too much

I've never used moss before... there is a strange smell coming from it... a smell I have never smelt before. It reminds me of roting plant mater and perfume. I'm going to switch this plant with one I have in rockwool its a cutting with the same age.

I love the creativity of this idea, hope it goes well

The other in the moss... it smells more alcohol like now... IDK if moss is a good idea or at least that particular cheap brand

I've already gone threw 6x AAA batteries, this is not a cheap grow.
