Michigan oil if out of state id

My sister in laws been having siezures. Taking kepra, adivan, vistoril, depacote blah blah blah...
Finally willing to try the oil. They live outside teledo ohio. So michigan is not a far drive at all. I hate to use a dispensary but i need a good legit source. I did also consider making some myself. But i dont want to grow a high cbd low thc strain myself. I currently have flowering buds but not that kind. Pleas let me know... thanks.

Im a bit confused, but if you dont have a mmmj card in MI, you wont be able to get anything from a MI dispensary.

I guess an out of state id will not work. A private caregivea the way to go. Any info would be great.

Could i make it with my buds? How would it work with my strains for now? I dont want her getting high if i can avoid it...

Thats what i was asking. She lives right outside of michigan, i live elsewhere. I have buds myself in flower, but not high cbd low thc. Either considering making it myself or getting mmj card in mi.

I currently make bho and get 5g per oz. Never made oil tho and wonder how it differs.

You would need to do exactly as you said and grow a high cbd/ low thc medicinal strain for the results you seek.
If you dont reside in MI, you wont be able to get a MMMJ card or a caregiver.

These are early days and true research is hard to come by,if you can find and talk to a very experienced caregiver it might help. Every condition is different and how people respond to oil can differ with the same condition. I wouldn't assume that she needs a CBD only oil and THC may be of benefit to her. There are other cannabinoids that may help also and some talk of the Entourage Effect. It may take some time and adjustments of ratios to find something that works well for her. I take oil daily and prefer a 1:1 ratio of THC and CBD for treating my problems and that may be a good starting point for her.

Think ill do my research, find a reciepe n make a smaller batch.

My biggest concern is dose. I imagine dose would be easiest for them in ML. So If i put 20g in a 100ml vial. Have her take 1 ML day to start which is estimated .2 gram. (FOR INSTANCE?) I was told dose can go up to gram a day for severe patients.

Also, She doesnt like to smoke, i know that. But the effect of edibles are different. Less intense imo when dosed properly.

Also ive looked through some iso reciepes. Seems much simplier than bho. But the oil ive ever seen on tv or in videos was black with a dark green tint sometimes. Not brown or tan like wax.

Am i looking at the wrong type of recipes? Or is it darker when using straight flowers?

Also what do they cut it with to make proper doseage?

If she doesn't want to get high, don't activate it by heating it. I make a cbd infused coconut oil for a couple patients, and it's non activated. Just do a dry sift or a dry ice extraction of the trichome heads, and add that to room temp coconut oil. The sift from one ounce of bud is added to 1 cup coconut oil. 5ml twice a day seems to do the trick for my peeps, but you'll have to play around with the dosage to see what works for her.

We have a local pharmacy here in Portage that makes some of their own pharmaceuticals. Their more of a "natural pharmacy" if u can say such a thing. I know they have bottles of cbd oil right on the shelf. So I'm pretty sure cbd oil is legal.

The FDA just made a ruling a few months ago banning any and all cbd oils on store shelves. Most didn't even have cbd in them, just snake oil.

Thats really nice of you. Tbh tho my paranoia would probably only allow me to order seeds tho lol. Nobody knows i grow, n i personally dont know anyone else that does besides riu. So its become my golden rule along with smell n sell. I hate how the laws are. Make it so hard to get medicine people need. I bet that plants just gonna sit in your veg n take up space...

So one ounce of bud will make 8-9 months worth of this oil??? (240 ml in cup @ 1 ml/day is 240 days) Or did you mean 1 oz of dry sift?

nance have you ever heard of anyone using suppositories and bypassing consumption altogether? wondering if that would affect the high, or make it more mild.

Yes. You will still get high. Guy I knew used to 'freebase' that way.
It I very fast onset.. Any rectal area cancers that's how I recommend taking it..

Side note?? If dehydrated an enema of urine water will work where drinking it would just make it worse ~
