Yes, one of fhe bills if passed, would allow concentrates up to an amount outside of the 2.5 i believe. I have not got around to reading that bill yet, but it does specifically say no butane extraction in residential or any curtilage(no residential blasting, even outside).

I believe the house will vote yes for all for all of them again and the Snyder will sign off on them. Before we know those 90 days will be up. I entertained the idea of going to try and maybe attempt to get one these licenses to grow. I then thought what if I leased a building and did all this stuff that is required to then be rejected by the state. I feel like there will be some nepotism involved while giving any license in any tier. Plus you have get allowed in your city too before you even apply. Oh don't forget it's non refundable application fee of $5,000- $10,000.

$5-10,000 application fee is chump change compared to the money you will spend building a high quality facility, attorney's, and security. You aint just going to build a glorified basment grow in a warehouse and make it. Your going to have to account for every micro gram of cannabis. Most growers dont even know how much expenses they have.

That's very true, it's just unfortunate for the people who would want to grow on a commercial level but don't have the funds for that. Let alone being granted a license by their city to do so. These licenses will be given based on merit of how the individual or individuals are within the community or even the success of a current business.

As long as they leave the mmma alone im good with all bills, if you want to grow 1500 plants you better be ready to account for everything and find a way not to charge 50 bucks a gram. Or charge 100 bucks a gram and fail. No skin off my ass,any real patiant will not want to use commercial garbage sprayed with who knows what

This is a good article written by Rick Thompson:

The End of Caregiving As We Know It In Michigan: Medical Marijuana Bills Pass Senate

http://thecompassionchronicles.com/2016/09/08/the-end-of-caregiving-as-we-know-it-in-michigan-medical-marijuana-bills-pass-senate/

photo caption: Sen. Rick Jones holds his “Logic Brick” which is tilted so he can’t see all the holes in it.
I like the title of this article... real comical. There isn't anything that I read in the bills that end caregiving and patients. I due believe they are trying to set the foundation for legalization.

That is exactly what this is. The beginning of a over regulated and taxed regulatory scheme. There is just not enough patients to support this system in the long run, unless its reduced to just a handful of growers and retail outlets. You see shops pop up, and go out of business a month or two later all the time here.

That's just it, if you don't have the capital you can't get in, and if you do got cash good luck making a profit in the next 4 years. Mabey if they draw up a rec bill that they like in the next 4 years these places will have a great start to that market.

But i bet my ass that if they do come up with a rec bill that home grows will be dropped or severialy regulated

You are all deluded!
I fought this in hearings at the Senate level months ago! My shop got raided all my operations shut down and agreements from local DA's ignored! Schutte came after me because I testified against these bills. I TOLD THE TRUTH and it got me busted!

There will be NO, let me repeat this again. There will be NO legal growing outside of the big (can you say prairie farms?) 500 to 1500 plant growers.
ALL MM patients WILL have to go to APPROVED MM disp.! Your not getting the writing on the wall! IF the police come to your house or catch you in possession - any time any where, with MM that does NOT have a way to be tracked back to the LEGAL source! YOUR BUSTED! That legal source MUST BE A STATE LICENSED GROWING operation! HOME GROWING will have NO way to be licensed or traceable back to your exact grow! IN EFFECT - ALL PERSONAL GROWING WILL BE ILLEGAL! You won't have that "seed to sale" required PROOF of ORIGIN! You WILL be busted as having unregistered and therefor illegal weed!

They may have changed some words BUT, the meaning as it was INTENDED back when it was written. IS still the same!

MI is about to go NO PERSONAL GROWING - even if they don't "officially" change the law to say so!

I don't give a SHIT what the writer of that non-informative piece of newsless trash said.....ALL dispensaries are ILLEGAL under STATE LAW! I should know! I WAS BUSTED FOR MINE and HAD THE "OFFICIAL OK" to operate under what Schutte him self said as to local enforcement choosing to or not! I was told directly, that the word to raid me came directly from Bill Schutte himself!
It was passed to a multi county drug enforcement team and not "local" authorities whom I had the blessing from!

They word it so you THINK it's ok. THEN SCREW YOU WITH THE DETAILS!

REMEMBER THE DETAILS ARE NO NON RECORDED POSSESSION! (They ain't "recording" your home med grow - so your a no-no! This will open the door for you to loose your kids and home! They have made the new possession laws FELONY'S !!!! HUGE fines and mandatory jail times (for second offence and above)!

Today was the House vote - It got cancelled as some Rep died on his motorcycle.....Sad for him - good for us,,,,,,CALL/EMAIL YOUR HOUSE REP and say VOTE NO!

This bill is slated to pass by what I'm told by insiders - SO START CALLING?EMAILING THE GOV. AND TELL HIM TO NOT SIGN IT!

Well back to underground I guess. It really sucks that it would come to that. I can see it already people's families continuing to be devastated by the state's negligence. If they wouldn't want home growing, why not put it in the law? Instead they want people to play Russian roulette with their freedom. Is there there some fine print that I didn't read that might state the legalities of home growing in the new HB's?

I would say look to the clause in the mmma that says that all laws that conflict with the mmma are void
