I agree with you rzza. I have seen much good bud from Cali and what people try to pass off as CLONE ONLY strains is laughable.

the point is for the mom to have all the desired traits + from seed not clone + reg seed not fem + f1 stock (attitude) not f2, f3 etc ...

i happen to have a clone only strain (i gave cuts to about 4 or 5 people, regretfully) that id like to stabilize down the line into seed form but for now its my elite strain and im ridding my rooms of anything except it.

i got *l.a. confidential,* sour diesel, *larry, *super lemon haze, and *hashberry. i gotta try that casey jones been hearing bout that for some time now & agent orange i had some of that from a dispensary it was pretty good i think i probably could tune her up though.

Be very carefull with the green crack strain floating around michgan,as far as i know i was one of the 1st legal growers in michigan to get the clone only strain.

I bought what was advertised as a stable cali strain of green crack,imported a dozen clones at very large expense,i had 8 clones survive & out of the 8 clones i had atleast 2 different phenotypes,both were unstable,i know only the basics about breeding & dont claim to be an expert breeder but i am educated enough to see an unstable strain that was rushed to market & thats what i had.

I ran that strain for close to 2 years with nothing but trouble & im not a newb,i know exactly how to run a grow but got wildly varried results,each run would have difrerent nutrient requirements,one run exibit nitro def of mag def while another run started at the same time from the same mother would do fantastic,have no defiencies using the same feeding regiment & would yeild way different than the other table.

One run would pump out 2 oz's per plant( which is my target ) while the other run would barely hit an oz per plant,then the buds on the low yeilding table would not be fit for dispensing,they looked so terrible it was only good for hash.

I never could get that strain into a solid routine beacuse the genetics were so unstable,each plant would exibit instability in different ways,some plants gave up some of the worst looking & tasting smoke it looked like roadside wild grown pot,then others would give up the best looking buds on earth with a great taste & buzz.

The green crack floating around michigan has some very shitty genetics within the strain so be carefull,wasting well over a year trying to get that shit to settle down cost me a small fortune in wasted plant count i coulda been growing real meds with.

Yeah there are a lot of lame people in Mi claiming to have elite genetics and long extinct strains (pinconning paralyzer), people breeding with feminized strains and just plain crappy growers. Ever since the med law passed there's been a flood of garbage crappy grown kind bud. I'm glad the law passed, but honestly, before it passed the quality of kind bud was much better. Now everyone that gets a card immediately thinks they're growing at a pro level and try and tax the shit out of their crappy, dry, harsh, non odorous bud. The dispensaries aren't any better. Inexperienced people buying other inexperienced people's crappy bud and selling it as if it was good when it's not. I can't wait till some time passes and all the noobs in Mi get into the groove of knowing whats good and whats not and learning how to grow properly. Don't get me wrong, there are some very knowledgeable people in MI that grow very good smoke, but the majority are just jokers trying to get rich.
