MH for Flowering OR Hps?

im thinking about purchasing a 250 or 400 watt lighting system from htg supply and i just dont know whether to purchase hps bulbs or mh. i am only looking to buy one or the other. not both

then buy a HPS, start your seedlings or clones with 6500 K cfls and then switch to the HPS when they get a couple of weeks old.

HPS is the only thing you should be thinking about when it come to flower. HTG is something you shouldn't be thinking after seeing so many complaints about them.

You said purchase bulbs in your question, do you understand you need a ballast to operate MH or HPS bulbs ? Do you have a setup already or not ?

they supply the bulbs with the ballast in the kit

Get the HPS and then you can get an MH conversion bulb to go in it for use when flowering, as far as HTG goes I got one of their 400W MH lights and its running just fine no problems with it so far.

how many plants can u grow with that 400 watt?

I have 6 under mine atm, but the reccomended limit is 8.

damn im just gonna get a 150 for now and upgrade later... i only wanna grow one or two plants. i just want a oz every couple of months
