Medical Card Question

Hey guys so I am 18 and living in San Diego CA. I suffer from insomnia, anxiety, and depression and am currently taking Zoloft to treat 2 of the 3. I HATE taking it especially because I get most of the side effects ie. increased depression, vivid nightmares/dreams, and loss of sleep/insomnia. It eventually got to the point where I did cut myself and had to go see my psychologist regularly (don't judge haha) where they decreased my dose of Zoloft. I also have a pinched nerve in my shoulder due to Baseball for 12 years, and refuse to take strong pain killers due to my families history with them. My question is based on my circumstances do I have a chance of obtaining a card if I went into the 420 doctors? Or should I stick with buying from someone else? Just need a little insight please and thank you guys ! And if I am to go in what would I say/bring??

PS--- Average cost?? Can't find it anywhere on Google.

Hey Cali, Im up north. You can get one no problem! By the way Zoloft sucks! That shit alone will make some people crazy! 420 Docters are awesome...They work rather u be off the pills and on the herb.

YES. you dont even need all that. I told my Doc I have been smoking since 16.. dont plan on stopping and just want it to be LEGAL. and got my card.

Wow thank you. Yea I really can't stand Zoloft and have only been taking it to humor the doctor. If anything I feel as if I have gotten worse. Started smoking 4 months ago HOLY COW! Seriously like night and day. I feel better sleep better AMAZING.. Thanks for the reply

I forgot to mention, if you are having all those side effect's you need to change to some different meds that work, I am a woman & had a docter put me on that shit...All I can say is "Talk to the docter, get off of it. If you seriously need meds for anxiety, etc. Look into BUSPAR, It is for General Anxiety Disorder. It's not a heavy duty med. And side effect r light. But everyone's different. Being pill free is ideal, but anxiety can really screw up your life as well.

I agree entirely. I spoke with the doctor recently and brought up being taken off of it slowly and they agreed to set up an appointment with my medicine doctor. I'm not a big fan of pills and stuff like that. The whole concept freaks me out. Especially when the side effects outweigh the actual treatment. I will mention BUSPAR to him. Anxiety is horrble and I would love something to treat it. Thank you very much

Grab a sd reader and look at the last 3 or 4 pages and u will find tons of places to go get ur card. When I got mine they didn't even ask me any questions they were making my card as I was filling out the paperwork. Then I went back they took my blood pressure and explained the rules, gave me some coupons for some weed and sent me on my way. I have severe migraines and insomnia so that's what I got it for it cost me $40. If u want the state card that cost about $166. I have both

all you really need to do is go to a 420 doctor and explain your symptoms and show them your prescribed pills,and tell them how they dont help you as much as marijuana,

and how you are getting off of the pills.you can even tell them how they make your dick feel like wood after taking the pills. and they will label it as sexual dysfunction.

to better your chances tell them about your nerve pain from baseball.

i got my card in so*cal aswell.. it ran me 75$ because i told them i was driving a city or 2 away.
normal price was 100$ and ive seen as high as 150$ at other places.

i think you have a high chance of getting your card,specially if u bring in your pill bottle

You need medical recommendation i think prescription is ok... and id must or driving license of where you stay.
