#2. She stretched a bit at 12/12 and caught up to the height of #4. She's got a good amount of resin and smells a little more like sour lemons.

And last, but definitely not least is #1. She stretched just as much as #2 at the flip to 12/12. She's got a lot of resin too. Smells a little more lemon limey, or maybe just more sour lemony than #2.

im now at 172 actual watts of led power first grow using led so cant speak about mine yet jsut what ive seen form others. i want a big 400 actual watt one down the road. if i wouldnt have heat issues i would be using a 600 watt hps/mh setup. cfl's and led's get my room to 78-80 their is no way i could in summer. i am thinking of a 150-400 hps/mh and hanging vertical when i get a tent then have led on each side. not sure yet. im seeeing led creates better quality but smaller buds. so i think a mix is needed. ill see what my temps are as it warms up and then decide.

That looks bomb GreenSanta! I love how bushy she is. It looks like she didn't stretch much either. I like the color too. After their final stretch, three easily doubled in size and two didn't stretch much. Here they are last week around 20 days into flower:
Ah…this is what I needed to know. I just popped two and needed to calculate when to flip since I have limited height. I'll plan on a little more than double. Thanks for the info.

Your grow looks great! Like you, I can only grow a few plants at a time. Usually it was two and now I'm at four -- pennywise and god's gift. My hope is that I chose well so that the canopy will be fairly even. But there does seem to be a lot of height variance on the pennywise. We'll see. I do have a back up tent that's taller just in case I fuck up my stretch calculations, but I don't like dragging it out unless I have to.

I recently harvested 5 plants in a 4x4 tent. Out of the 5, I had one Pennywise that was around 18" when flipped to flower. The final height for Pennywise was right at 4'! The other 4 plants (mixed TGA) had minimal stretch.

Hope this helps.

I've been interested in LEDs for a while, it seems like a logical step forward for indoor growers. I also will most likely be growing in my own room once I get a place next month, so heat and power consumption will be a concern with that. If I did a smaller led setup I could run multiple rooms too and not take up too much space. Keep me posted on the outcome with your leds.

I didn't expect that much stretch from them based off of the description on the website, but the ones that stretched the most definitely smell more lemony and have more resin on the leaves, so those must be JTR dominant. I can't wait to finish this run so I can start trying each phenotype and find the right one for me!

That shit looks bomb Bigworm6969! So frosty! It looks like a couple of mine might be smaller yielders, but one of them is pretty bushy and looking like its gonna have some colas on it. I'm not really concerned about yield though, I just want what makes me feel calm and takes away my anxiety and also tastes the best too.

My Flav and Jillybean didn't stretch much either. I feel like three of these phenos stretched quite a bit, but not as much as yours. I'm really digging the structure of my short one, but I really like the resin and smell on the taller ones.

More pics tonight for week five.

Week 5:
P1 w5.jpg
#1. This one along with 2 and 4 are the most frosty out of the five. She has that nice lemon smell with just a little sweetness to it.

P2 w5.jpg
#2. Extremely frosty and super lemony, almost with some candy-like smell coming through. It kind of reminds me of my flav and jillybean while in flower, minus the lemon smell.

P3 w5.jpg
#3. A little taller than short #5, but more resin and a little more lemony smelling than #5 too.

P4 w5 2.jpgP4 w5.jpg
#4. She looks like she's going to yield the best. She was a beast in veg and turned into a nice bush. She also is pretty covered in resin and has a really nice lemon smell. It looks like she's going to have some nice colas once she's done too!

P5 w5.jpg
#5. This shorty has full little colas and seems to be beefing up already too! Not as resin covered as the other ones. She's sweet smelling with a slight lemon undertone.

damn them budz r sweet, do any of them have like a menthol smell to it, the one i did, first time i ever smelled a plant like that even in the taste it had it, and mine was a stretcher like 3times, crazy all the different phenos and growing techniques that can change a plant in the way that it grows and looks, but good job man

Thanks Bigworm! They don't completely have a menthol smell to them, but I feel like the menthol smell is in there. On a couple of the taller ones, I feel like I'm picking up the menthol underneath the main lemon smell when I take a big sniff; it seems to penetrate deep into my nostrils and sinuses like menthol does.

Here's the update for week 6:

1@ 6wks.jpg
#1 the second frostiest.

2@ 6wks.jpg
#2. She has the most resin of them all and looks like she's going to finish first too.

3 @ 6wks.jpg
#3. She's super frosty too, definitely up there with 1 & 2. A little sweetness mixed in with the lemon smell too.

4 @ 6wks.jpg
#4. Lots of tops on her and a good amount of resin, but unless she swells up before the end I think the buds will be pretty skinny and sativa like. Looks like she'll be a good hash maker though.

5@ 6wks.jpg
#5. She's the shorty with fat little colas. Not as much resin on the fan leaves, but a lot on the buds.

6wks.jpg
Group shot! everything seems to be starting to swell and show what the true bud structure is like. BTW, the color isn't right on any of the pictures. Between the HPS and low lighting in my garage, I have to fuck with the white balance on my phone and hope it gets as close to normal as I can get it. Once I start to chop the plants down in a couple weeks I'll take some better pictures with the right color light and white balance on my phone.

make sure you test % before you choose
i choose the short indica dom that finished early and got 0% CBD
the one that was more sativa and took longer had 1:1

Hi everybody! Sorry for the delay in journal posts, I had to move after harvest and have been busy getting situated in my new place and with work. I'll try and get the journal caught up in the next couple of days. Here's short and fat number 5 at 55 days. She was pulled at 56 days and had a nice yield. More posts of the rest of the ladies to come!

# 3 at 8 weeks. She got pulled that night or the next day. She was a little taller than 5, not as fat, and yielded the least out of all 5.

#2 at 8 weeks. She yielded nicely too thanks to some super dense nugs. I forgot to take a pic of her before chopping, but you get the idea.
