Maximum infusing butter

Given one pound of butter , Anyone have a clue what the butter's maximum capacity is, infusing average quality bud? Most say: 1 lb. TO 1 oz. of trim. (Maybe 1 oz.of bud is max.)

I want to cut back on my caloric intake by making better butter.

Thanks.

that's a good question lol. i've ran the same butter twice through two different trims and the results was very dank butter.

I've read several articles that say pure coconut oil is better at extracting than butter, and it's supposed to be very healthy too, anyone have any XP with this? If it's a better "solvent" then maybe you'd end up with more potent product and so use less for fewer calories (although I don't have the butter to coconut oil calorie numbers, so could be wrong ;?).

I only got 55% of my pound of butter back so I'm doing coconut oil next time, will need to study recipes.

Coconut oil working better might have something to do with it hardening point which is lower than butter.

Coconut oil has healthier fats.

I want it max. potent so I'm eating less butter. However, i lost nearly 1/2 of a pound of butter last time. It like just disappeared
