Max plants question????

Its usually number of totes that determines how many plants. Ive grown 6 plants uncomfortably in a six gal tote. You can probably do 2-3 larger plants (in the 18gal tote) depending on the length and width dimensions of the lid and how big you want the net pots. Learn to take care of one plant before planting ten. I smell a get rich quick scheme, these dont work often enough.

Dont go multiple plants per res is my opinion, dbkick and others on this forum (DBKICK SHOUT OUT!) have had success with it. Its just harder to examine and diagnosis multi plants in a single tote. Single res generally very successful with med to large sized plants.

18 gal tote is 12 gal of water. I figure 2 gal per plant and 3 is better. So, 4 or 6 grown pretty large. But of course, you could do 16 plants and keep them small.

I agree more about multiple strains than multiple plants. I do multiple plants of the same strain and strive for uniformity - they all need the same thing at the same time.

Fredro: Vumar and the rest of these folks are giving you good advice. Don't get greedy before you know what you're doing. My friends that have ended up regretting it. If you look at the videos on you tube you'll frequently see 18 gallon Rubber Maid tubs with six to eight holes in the lid but if something goes wrong you are going to have to react real fast of you'll lose it all.
