Are there any good tables or databases or websites etc that list a large number of different type of LED chips?

chipFinder has datasheets and listings, but how to tell if it is complete?
Octopart as well, used it for years, again, not a list per se, but a good searchable database that has datasheets for a lot of different....
I think most rely on either the companies themselves or Distributor reps....for chip info and availability, as you are probably aware..
Still such a new type of knowledge base that is exploding,....... is the community lacking for a lack of tools as you describe? Probably a little at least
