lol my drugs are masculine....

j/k I personally havent messed with it but I do know that it comes from a certain type of cactus that grows wild in the desert, some people also grow it but I guess it takes a really long time... wait, Im thinking of peyote.... but I think mescalin comes from peyote so, My friends did it, you throw up every time then you are zooted for like 4 hrs. crazy shit though

heres this too...

It occurs naturally in the peyote cactus (Lophophora williamsii), the San Pedro cactus (Echinopsis pachanoi) and the Peruvian Torch cactus (Echinopsis peruviana), and it is also found in a number of other members of the Cactaceae. Mescaline was first isolated and identified in 1897 by the German Arthur Heffter and first synthesized in 1919 by Ernst Späth.

Dosage and effects
For the drug to take effect, the top of the cactus is cut from the roots, and dried to make disk-shaped buttons. It is chewed to produce its effect or soaked in water for an intoxicating drink. However, the taste of the cactus is incredibly bitter and repulsive, so users will often grind it into a powder and fill them in capsules to avoid having to taste it. The effective human dosage is 0.3–0.5 grams of pure mescaline, with the effects lasting for up to 12 hours. Users typically experience visual hallucinations and radically altered states of consciousness, often experienced as pleasurable and illuminating but occasionally is accompanied by feelings of anxiety or revulsion. Like all psychedelic hallucinogens, mescaline is not physically addictive. In addition, mescaline containing cacti can induce severe vomiting and nausea.

OMG....Last night was crazy....My friend was trippin so bad, He took he's clothes off in the field and ran in the bushes...I was trippin and just laughted at him then my brother told me he's gonna get hurt and I ran after him crazy in the woods and found him laying down on a shrubz. Later he told me that he lost total understanding of time and space.....He said one minute would last like for ten minutes and that little noises and things would distract him from understanding what we told him......I mean it was a total out of body experience....I will definitly get some more and get the same expereince as him....He said he was barley on level 3 but I think he was at level 5....

Level 1
This level produces a mild "high" effect, with some visual enhancement (e.g. brighter colors). Left/right brain communication changes causing music to sound "wider," or more piercing to the ears. This level can be achieved from a normal dose of cannabis or a very low dose of a classic psychedelic such as psilocybin.

Level 2

Bright colors; visuals (e.g. things may move or breathe); some 2 dimensional patterns become apparent upon shutting eyes. Confused, cyclic or reminiscent thoughts. Change in short term memory leads to continual distractive thought patterns. Vast increase in creativity becomes apparent as the natural brain filter is bypassed. The need to see 'normal' reality becomes less, the urge to venture 'beyond the void' becomes more. Level 3 tripping can intersperse with level 2 as long as eyes are shut. This state can be achieved from a high dose of cannabis or a low dose of psilocybin.

Level 3

Very obvious visuals, everything looking curved and/or warped, patterns, kaleidoscopes or fractal images seen on walls, landscapes, faces, etc. Closed eye hallucinations become 3 dimensional. There is some confusing of the senses (synesthesia). Time distortions and "moments of eternity". Movement at times becomes extremely difficult (too much effort required). A normal dose of psilocybin can produce this effect.

Level 4

Strong visual effects, e.g. objects morphing into other objects. Dissolving or multiple splitting of the ego (e.g. things start talking, or feeling of contradictory things simultaneously). The loss of sense of self can bring a shift in the sense of reality, often accompanied by a sense of ineffable lucidity. Time becomes meaningless. Out-of-body experiences and ESP-type perceptions and abilities. A high dose of psilocybin can produce this effect.

Level 5

Total loss of visual connection with reality. The senses cease to function in the normal way. Total loss of ego. Merging with space, other objects or the universe. Reaching to the beginning or the end of space and time. The loss of reality becomes so extreme that it defies explanation. Dream or movie like states, people have been reported seeing themselves in entirely different settings than their original setting. Earlier levels are relatively easy to describe in terms of measurable changes in perception and thought patterns. The only thing still reported to be working at a recognizable level, is the mind's voice of thought.

those level things arent much to go by....but it seems like your friend had a dank tripp
Those "level things" are the result of countless bioassays and research into psychedelics, especially thanks to individuals like Sasha Shulgin. It's perfectly sound as a guide to what entheogenic plateaus are like.
